5 /5 Kathryn Anderson: I was with a group when we stopped in here for lunch. The owner was there and he gave us a tour of the smoke houses, which was so fun to see! Their andouille and sausage are delicious. Wanting something lighter for lunch, I ordered the Smoked Chicken Salad and it was incredible! Their smoked chicken is so flavourful, highly recommend!

5 /5 Nombeaux: Had the Monday lunch special for f red beans with smoked sausage annd cracklin cornbread. Also ordered the deviled eggs and hogs head cheese, and brisket sammy. Delicious, flavorful and perfect. Good music and clean bathrooms were an added bonus for the weary traveler!

They sell Cajun specialties such as Tasso, Boudin, Andouille, smoked duck, rabbit, chicken, as well as spices and other food accessories. They do an excellent job! They also make lunches out of their food products and you simply cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. We had fried catfish with white beans, shrimp and rice (the daily special) and a smoked brisket sandwich. Everything was awesome and almost everything was made in house. If you live in the greater NOLA area you have no excuse not to go. If you are visiting NOLA then find the time to make the 30 minute drive and find out for yourself.
