Cody Morrow Harmon’s is by far the most capable and knowledgeable mechanics in the area. Especially anything regarding diesels, both big and small. They are thorough and fix things the right way, if you’re looking for the best they are it! Oh and they are the best towing service also! I have used them extensively for both business and personal mechanic work. These folks leaving bad reviews are idiots. You can’t expect quality work for free. I’ve used many others but none are this knowledgeable.

J. White Good mechanic, but I don’t know if he forgot or just did not care to mention that after replacing my back pads , he broke a stud off and one of my lug nuts were damaged . I know it was while he did the changing of my back breaks because he put the broken stud in my car after , and the passanger side back tire lug nuts were not tightened at all. Which could have been extremely dangerous if I didn’t notice myself So I’d say 5/10 mechanic just please look at what he does so you don’t leave with a possible problem for later .

Luke Becker Replaced my rear brake calipers. Mark up on the parts was1.75 times the oReilly price. The labor was a good price and they worked very quickly. When I came to pick up the car I drove off only to be flagged down because the older gentleman and not tightened or torqued the lug nuts down. It could have caused major damage. You be the judge.

joseph kramer After being rear ended they completed the quote in a timely manner. He even provided and installed a plastic wrap on the taillight to keep it water proof while we wait for the insurance claim. He did that completely free of charge. I didn’t even ask, he just offered it.

John Gardner This shop is always full of cars, and it’s obvious why. They repaired the peeling paint on my roof for about 3/4 if the cost at any other shop. The owner personally explained the process and gave me a military discount, which was sincerely appreciated since I paid out of pocket (damage was not covered by warranty). Work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time, too. I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend this business.

Anthony Wisby Kevin is a good atv mechanic along with doing a banged up job on dual exhaust on both my trucks. Love the sound they make along with the fair price of installing them. Stopped by a few weeks ago with some questions about my motorcycle that he was able to answer and give advice on, despite the fact I just dropped in on him. Didnt make me feel like I was interrupting him from his work that he was doing at the moment. It says a lot about a person that will drop what they are doing to help you and not feel inconvenience about it.

Landen Vidrine Had my motor put into my truck spent 5 grand on it and still running into problems later down the road. Ive replaced every part hes ever put on it he forgot to put 2 bolts into my intake manifold causing it to leak oil like crazy. Would never take my vehicle back to him and wont ever recommend him.

Caleb Long Mr. Miller has been our family mechanic for many many years, my grandfather has used his expertise since moving to deridder over 15 yrs ago and he has always treated our family like his own and has the skill to diagnose/fix pretty much any issue that hes capable of accomplishing. He isnt necessarily in the business of rebuilding complete motors or transmission work, but is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help in any way he can. Im sad that he has scaled back his business due to planning for retirement because he was/is the most straight shooting mechanic in the area in my persnal opinion. Others in town dont even hold a candle to Mr. Millers expertise and professionalism. All around great guy, and a great mechanic. No one likes to have to spend $$ on mechanic work, but with Mr. Miller you can trust that he will charge what is necessary without trying to nickel and dime each customer to get paid as much as possible like soo many other mechanics. Hes pretty much a one man operation (other than his wife) so sometimes it may take a tad bit longer, but rest assured he will get the job done and do the job correctly without cutting corners. Amazing guy, amazing mechanic! What more could you ask for in a small town mechanic!? I appreciate all the work he has provided my family (and myself) throughout the years and I never hesitate to call and talk to him about vehicle mechanics when I run into issues.

dc2049 Had 2 motor mounts and my brakes changed along with a tune up on my Silverado half ton and Mr. Donnie and his staff of experts technicians were extremely efficient. They did forget however to install the cabin air filter I had in the back seat or they would have had a five star review. The receptionist, Hailey, was pleasant to speak with and very knowledgeable about her job and how to handle my inconsistent way of describing the several issues I was having with my truck. Overall, I had a great experience and the price was very reasonable and I did get a 5% military discount which was nice. When something else goes wrong with my 2011 Silverado, you can bet that I would bring my truck back to Walley’s Auto Repair for service even though I live in Lake Charles and they’re up in Deridder. It’s worth the trip for me to be confident that I have great service, from honest people at a reasonable price and I can keep my truck on the road longer without getting stuck paying for a new truck which it seems like a lot of people would rather do today.

They have fixed every issue I have brought in without a problem. I appreciate how reliable they are and how they take the time to do things right. The shop also has vending machines, which is great if you are waiting around. It is a convenient and trustworthy place for car repairs.

MeatForVegetarians Gave me an “alignment” on my town and country I took it to Aubrey’s after the car steering wheel was still acting crazy. Turns out the tie rods were bent and the struts were damaged. I could have died because of dishonesty to make 200 bucks. I do not recommend

The team were all patient with my persistent questions and were more than willing to assist with necessary upgrades due to a lack of necessary parts. Tony worked directly with State Farm and myself, making the repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible. No corners were cut! Today, the vehicle is completely repaired and looks amazing thanks to Tonys skill and willingness to allow me to make a few decisions with respect to parts being installed.
