Gave me his own umbrella when he saw I didn’t have one and gave me a discount when he heard where I was from. He checked my oil and coolant and rather than upsell me he was honest and said I was all good. Would definitely use again

    W Nunnery: Rarely have I ever been treated this kindly at any auto care establishment. I cannot overstate how at every interaction I was treated with respect and spoken to like I was a friend. I had my car inspected for safety in advance of a long road trip and I regarded the team as knowledgeable and trustworthy. They certainly have some experts on staff. My service options were well explained and I feel that I was not upsold or cheated in any way. A part had to be ordered and it came overnight at no extra cost to me. I waited at the shop both times and the waiting room was clean, tranquil, and comfortable. Best of all my wait was short, both days I was able to be almost immediately attended to. I don’t usually trust when a place has this many positive reviews, but this location is really top notch and I will certainly return here in the future. This was my first time using Meineke chain and I enjoyed the vehicle report online having lots of details and photos as proof. This business strikes me as very honest. Thank you!

    Ace Ward: I needed a relatively simple repair done (replace thermostat) so I stopped at Smiling Chucks yesterday afternoon, based on the recommendation of others. I enjoyed chatting with Chuck for a while. He said I could bring the car in the next morning and he would get it done. I was there at 8am this morning and he called me at 11am to let me know I could come pick the car up. Quick, good price, good folks. Ill be back.

    Amy Novelli: The two brothers that own and run Motormen auto service and body shop are really great guys. They took the time to look at my vehicle and check the computer check engine light and told me the truth about what the issues were with my truck. I was in New Orleans for the summer and had to go back to Tucson Arizona a 20 Hour drive in the extreme heat. They told me the issues were under warranty at my mechanic in Tucson and that they wouldn’t cause a problem during my trip and they were correct. They also helped me find out what my truck might be worth if I want to sell it. They are conveniently located just north of Claiborne on Euterpe the same road as Home Depot. I recommend you check them out they are funny smart fast and know their vehicles. They advised me on what type of vehicle I could switch to when I sell my diesel. When I was in their shop I felt safe, listened to, and respected. I definitely will go to them for any mechanical needs when I am in New Orleans!!

    wmccrock: Many bright shiny auto shops said my AC system worked fine but the air distribution problem could only be fixed by a Nissan dealership. A & P AutoCare is not bright and shiny so I drove in looking for someone to replace my oil filter with a new one in my hand for $20. For the past 40 yearsI have repaired my own cars so I was happy that A&P allowed me to watch them work. I was impressed by their care and knowledge so when they told me they could fix my AC I said do it. Then 4 hours later my "unfixable" AC repair was done for 40% of the dealership price! And now Im very happy my AC works great in this hat and humid weather. Dont be put off by the junky appearance, they know their jobs and have the latest tools to do it.
