3 /5 Jabba K: Could been more welcoming honestly my whole experience was kinda awkward with my nail tech. Pretty sure she was on the phone with someone the whole time barely said two words to me. I guess I just expected a more welcoming experience for my first time there. She also massaged my hands very roughly I wouldn’t have minded if it was my feet but my hands are more sensitive and it was starting to hurt. I will say they did take me in last min which was very nice of them. The nail tech also did a very good job on my cuticles and filling I got regular polish and I will say it started to get clumpy so my nails didn’t come out smooth which was also kinda a bummer also the nail tech left polish on my finger tips which I really don’t mind as it’s regular polish but if it was gel I would’ve probably been more upset. Honestly don’t know if I’ll go back and try a different nail tech or just go somewhere else was really hoping to find my new nail salon as I just moved to the area.

5 /5 Tysha Doby: Just moved to LA and happened across this place, after my first visit I can say for sure this is my new nail spot! Very clean, professional and all the staff were so polite. They had great sanitation practices, I loveeeee my nails. I told Lupe she made the most perfect French tips I’ve ever had, and I’ve never had a nail tech strive so hard for symmetry between both hands, she did perfect can’t wait to come back!

5 /5 Samantha Hull: Class! A friend recommended this place while I was in town for a work trip. They worked me in without a reservation, were friendly and conversational and it doesnt smell like your typical acrylic nail salon. Then you get a little gift baggie to go. Ill definitely be coming back!

Angela Scheich: I have been a customer at Colors for quite some time. I went in last week to get my nails done, and they told me the associate that always helps me, Kay, was no longer there. Kay was always so kind, thorough, and my nails were always done perfectly. I was VERY disappointed with the other associate that helped me last week. She rushed through, didn’t massage the hands before applying color like they have always done, and I had to ask to wash my hands after she filed them down because she was going to apply color directly over all the nail debris after filing! I even had to ask her to please trim down two of the nails that were still very misshapen. She seemed incredibly rushed. She didn’t punch in my customer number at checkout either. I had to ask about that as well. I would always tip Kay incredibly well, because she was so good to her customers. I STILL tipped this other associate, just not as much, even though she did a terrible job. Hate it so much this happened and will not return anymore. I usually don’t write reviews but I felt I had to write one this time because the service was so poor.

Raavin Evans: I visited this establishment for the first time a week ago. I requested a manicure and color (dipping powder). After waiting over 30 minutes to be serviced, the nail technician left me soaking my previous color off for over 45 minutes while he left to run errands. Finally, another nail technician called me over to our station. As she was nearing completing the service, he returns from his errands and politely says thank you to his fellow co-worker and never acknowledge the 45 minute soak I experienced. Upon his return, he finished the service. Fast forward two days later, 7 of the 10 nails begin to chip and a clear film over the nail begins to peel. I return to the shop today only to be accused of doing something wrong. After waiting for over an hour, I was finally serviced. Once again a disappointment. The polish is on the skin surrounding my nail and underneath the nail is full of polish and caked up buffing dust. My two year old does a cleaner job. To add to the disappointment, I still paid $40 for my nails todays although this appointment was only because last weeks mistake lasted TWO days! This will be the last time I visit here. Very disappointing. Please do not waste your hard earned money coming here. Thank you Brenda for buffering the polish off my skin.
