Cera Vitaliano: My husband and I were patients at Dentists of Mandeville for several years after relocating to the area. Initially, we were under the care of Dr. Maura, who provided great service. However, our experience with a newer dentist, Dr. Nguyen, was deeply disappointing.
My husband, who has never had a cavity or required dental work, visited Dr. Nguyen for a routine check-up. He also needed military paperwork signed to confirm no immediate dental work was necessary. Shockingly, Dr. Nguyen claimed he had multiple cavities, required a root canal, and recommended additional procedures. This was particularly alarming as his previous appointment with Dr. Maura showed no issues. Dr. Nguyen was also aggressively pushy about add-on services like deep cleanings and fluoride treatments, becoming noticeably rude when my husband declined.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Nguyen refused to sign his military paperwork, insisting he needed immediate dental work. Doubting her assessment, my husband sought a second opinion. Since his biannual free visit was already used at Dentists of Mandeville, he had to pay out-of-pocket for this additional consultation. He obtained his X-rays and chart from Dentists of Mandeville and presented them to the new dentist. After a thorough review and examination, the second dentist confirmed his teeth were in perfect condition, requiring no work whatsoever.
This experience was frustrating and costly, and we caution others about Dr. Nguyen’s unprofessional conduct and questionable diagnoses.

Aimee Williams: As a parent who has had her own negative dental experiences in the past, it was important to find a dentist that my children would look forward to seeing. After trying other clinics, we choose to commute to Mandeville for this clinic. The staff and space are both warm and inviting. It is very child friendly—lots of singing nursery rhymes during cleanings and explaining all steps and procedures thoroughly.
kevin patrick: Hi everyone, when I tell you top notch service that’s an understatement. Dr. Jacob and his staff is so professional. Just the atmosphere when walking in is so warming. Dr. Jacob takes his time and explains to you what’s going on in away that you can understand. The receptionist is some sweet and kind. Her manager top notch don’t mind stepping in helping out when needed is what I witnessed on my child visit. I highly recommend all my friends and family visit Dr. Jacob and his staff and you will thank me later.
