I brought my truck in because there was an oil leak. I left the truck with them for a few days to diagnose the problem.
A few days turned into a few weeks. I called them to get an update on what the issue was and how much it would cost to repair. They told me they were still diagnosing the problem and will let me know once they have everything figured out.
After leaving my truck with them for a month, they finally call me to tell me the repair has been complete and I can come pick up the truck, along with a $4,735.95 invoice. I was shocked but was just happy to get my truck back on the road.
The following day, our driver noticed the truck was still leaking. I called Fair Diesel back up to let them know the truck is still leaking. I was told that they fixed a some rings/seals but in order for the leak to fully be repaired "they would have to dig deeper" and I would have to leave the truck with them and pay more. I was furious so I called my credit card company to dispute the $4,735.95 charges. Unfortunately, since I did sign the invoice, the charges were valid and I was stuck with it.
I took my truck to a shop in Shreveport the following day and left it with them. $800 and 1 week later I got my truck back and its been running great with no leaks.
Take your truck to a reputable shop and PLEASE stay away from these crooks.
