Garden Nails & Spa - Baton Rouge (LA)

5 /5 Jasmin Johnson: Professional, polite, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye are words I would use to describe Garden Nails & Spa. My visit was a few weeks ago, but it was such a positive experience that I wanted to make sure to write a review. I will definitely visit in the near future.

1 /5 Sara C: Im honestly surprised at the perfect reviews. I came for dip. I picked out my colors from the samples they provided. As he was doing my dip, the color seemed brighter but I know sometimes it can look a little different as it is going on before it is filed and finished. No. What I chose was a light baby pink and what I got was neon. When I pointed out the discrepancy, I was told "Sorry. Sometimes dip looks different than gel." The color change was very apparent but absolutely no correction was offered. Aside from that, the base by my cuticle is completely uneven. Probably the worst dip manicure I have had so if youre looking for dip, I would go elsewhere. I dont know if it will let me upload pictures but I will if it does. Added pictures and you can see the uneven line and the other thumb has a lump of clear gel. What a waste.

1 /5 Brandy Jones: THIS PLACE WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I went in for a gel manicure bc my normal place was closed..I should’ve just waited but I wanted to try this place out since they were across the street from my work..BAD DECISION! I picked color 58 which was supposed to be a hot pink and I got this rose red color..they filed my nails so thin that the same day I got them done one of them broke..then they only put 2 coats on and I could still see my regular nail color through it! I went back 3 days later to see if they could fix my nail and put a cpl more coats on the make it thicker. First, they kept saying I must have put my hands in water to discolor my nails and kept acting like it was my fault that the color in their book was not the same color when they put it on my nails.They only put 1 more coat on and told me to be careful with my nails..REALLY? I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AND I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE GOING EITHER!!!
