Huckleberry Trails Park - Ruston (LA)

5 /5 Elizabeth Follett: This was a great park! Toddler and infant friendly. The bathrooms looked and smelled clean and had a fold down changing table. 4 extra long covered picnic tables. There was a "decked" area and a nice playground with a rubber ground. Both safe for crawling babies and toddlers. Plenty of parking.

5 /5 Melanie Williams: A great place to bring the kids and go on a hike. We had fun today at Huckleberry Park! Or as Dusty called it Uncle Berrys park/Forest. We even fount a treasure chest! We signed our name and date and put it right back for someone else to find! We played find the nature spirits(from Frozen 2) on our hike. We found a lizard, he tried to get away,we wouldnt let him (dispite momma/Aunt Melanie telling us to let him go), and he snapped on to Dustys shirt until momma had to take the shirt off and take the lizard to a bush. We had so much fun and hope we can come back again soon!

4 /5 Andrew Martineau: Not a bad park to walk around. Its not very big, but having a couple trail options was nice.

5 /5 Theresa Dowden: Pretty decent trail options. Covered bench seating and a small playground. Love the steel and concrete canopies and signage designed and built by LATechs Architecture students. Lovely place to visit in a ll seasons, and not a far drive out. May see a neighborhood dog trotting around every now and the, but other than that, not much wildlife to be seen.

1 /5 Bill: The trails are terribly marked here. I got lost and went off trail several times. The animals need to be contained here as I saw many dangerous wild animals in my little time here. I planned for this to be a day trip but NOPE. I left after just 1 hour. This day went all wrong. The whole area is absolutely ALRIGHT. Nothing great nor special. There is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING to do around here after I left this disasterclass. Hasta la vista!
