1 /5 Jessica Edwards: I had may nails done here on 1/11/24. I should’ve turned around and walked out when I realized it was no longer under the same management as when I used to go there all the time. I live out of town and haven’t had my nails done in a long time, so it was supposed to be a treat for me. The girl could absolutely not understand what I was telling her that I wanted, and all I was asking for was a manicure with pearl tips instead of the white French tips. I’ve had this done literally so many times and never had an issue with someone not knowing what I meant. So I finally give up and just tell her we can do the french tips. She just sticks on the tips that are meant to be painted over and proceeds to put acrylic over them. When she started shaping and filing them it was really hurting the sides of my nail beds and I couldn’t understand why, but later it was evident that she had filed down into my nail bed on the sides. And then she cut me twice with the drilling file. I was just trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and trust the process. She then begins to paint white on the tips and it looked terrible because you could see where she glued the nail tip onto my nail. So I just asked her to take it off and just paint over it clear. I just wanted something natural looking because I don’t paint my nails with color for religious reasons. ANYWAY, she is just kind of disregarding what I’m saying at this point and it ended up being pink…. I finally was just over it and let her finish and left. I made it to rayville and stopped at the nail place there and just let them soak them off. My finger tips have been in so much pain and have been bleeding at the nail bed. I’m so sad that MY nail place has gotten this bad. This used to be a really awesome place, but clearly the people that are there now just kind of do what they want.
