2 /5 Natosha Brown: I used to love this place and had been a loyal customer for years. I’ve seen them change ownership, and after living in Texas for four years, I returned to Agua Nails because of the friendly service I had received in the past. However, lately, I have been disappointed with their customer service.
I often get my nails and feet done there. During my last visit, I arrived for my appointment only to be told that I was scheduled for a pedicure only. I’m not sure where the miscommunication happened, and although I was upset, I decided to give them another chance.
This past Saturday, I had a family emergency and missed my appointment. I would have preferred to be at the nail salon rather than in the emergency room with a family member. About an hour later, I called to inform them about my situation. Unfortunately, the owner was very rude. I apologized for missing the appointment and mentioned that, in all the years I’ve been a patron, I have never missed one before. Despite this, she offered no understanding and told me that next time I would be charged a fee for missing my appointment. I don’t mind paying for what I want, and I always tip my technicians well.
The owner then handed the phone to the receptionist, who said I would need to pay a deposit to reschedule, but she would speak with the owner since it was unlike me to miss an appointment. She promised to call me back if the owner agreed to waive the deposit. Guess what? Im still waiting for that call to schedule my next appointment. I think I’ll take my business, along with my generous tips, elsewhere.
