1 /5 Ashley Shiver: My husband and I have bought two cars from Lagrange Toyota and never had an issue with the service department until November 2024. The service department called my husband stating it was time for him to get an oil change so we made an appointment. When my husband arrived for the appointment he was asked if he wanted service as well, my husband said no that he was there for an oil change. He was told an oil change was not necessary due to it being synthetic oil and it only had to be changed at 10,000 miles (which he has only been 5,000 miles). He said there for 1-2 hours then received a text stating he did not need an oil change but they recommended he get an alignment/tire balance/rotation. My husband declined these services as they were not needed and all of that was done to the vehicle just a few months before when we initially bought the vehicle. Once he drove it home that day, the truck was shaking, wobbling and pulling hard to the right. We also did not receive paperwork from that day (which is mandatory for them to give you a copy of all services performed and declined). From November 2024 to January 2025 we had been attempting to get someone on the phone about this issue. I left multiple voicemails, called almost every day and no one would ever return my call. Finally I got Joey on the phone and he told us to bring the vehicle in and he would make things right at no costs. So today we brought the vehicle in to have it looked at and fixed only to be belittled and talked to like we were ignorant. The service department did say that the vehicle needed an alignment but that they would not be paying for it. I explained that Joey told us that he would take care of this issue but they were insistent on not taking care of us like they had promised. Joey never came to speak to us personally, only a service advisor spoke to us and he was quite rude and spoke to us like we were ignorant. Absolute worst experience at any customer service department I have ever encountered. Do not recommend buying a car or getting it serviced at Lagrange Toyota and if you do, I highly recommend taking a picture of the weights on your tires and balance prior to your vehicle getting serviced. We were not looking for free service or a hand out but I do expect our services to be preformed with integrity which was clearly not done at this location.
