Jay Paxton This is a highly rated service center. However, the main complaint I have is the constant up sale tactics used and the lack of records that implicate poor performance. If you have a problem checked out and the say nothing is wrong make them note it on the repair order and be sure to save the repair ticket for future reference. We had our brakes checked because of a grinding noise when breaking in the rain. They checked the brakes and said there was nothing wrong. Approximately six months later we had to have a brake job due to an excessively worn brake pad caused by a sticking caliper. They had no record of the brake check performed.

Ashley Shiver My husband and I have bought two cars from Lagrange Toyota and never had an issue with the service department until November 2024. The service department called my husband stating it was time for him to get an oil change so we made an appointment. When my husband arrived for the appointment he was asked if he wanted service as well, my husband said no that he was there for an oil change. He was told an oil change was not necessary due to it being synthetic oil and it only had to be changed at 10,000 miles (which he has only been 5,000 miles). He said there for 1-2 hours then received a text stating he did not need an oil change but they recommended he get an alignment/tire balance/rotation. My husband declined these services as they were not needed and all of that was done to the vehicle just a few months before when we initially bought the vehicle. Once he drove it home that day, the truck was shaking, wobbling and pulling hard to the right. We also did not receive paperwork from that day (which is mandatory for them to give you a copy of all services performed and declined). From November 2024 to January 2025 we had been attempting to get someone on the phone about this issue. I left multiple voicemails, called almost every day and no one would ever return my call. Finally I got Joey on the phone and he told us to bring the vehicle in and he would make things right at no costs. So today we brought the vehicle in to have it looked at and fixed only to be belittled and talked to like we were ignorant. The service department did say that the vehicle needed an alignment but that they would not be paying for it. I explained that Joey told us that he would take care of this issue but they were insistent on not taking care of us like they had promised. Joey never came to speak to us personally, only a service advisor spoke to us and he was quite rude and spoke to us like we were ignorant. Absolute worst experience at any customer service department I have ever encountered. Do not recommend buying a car or getting it serviced at Lagrange Toyota and if you do, I highly recommend taking a picture of the weights on your tires and balance prior to your vehicle getting serviced. We were not looking for free service or a hand out but I do expect our services to be preformed with integrity which was clearly not done at this location.

Randy Holloway Well we moved down here from Maryland and had to find a Toyota service center down here. After looking at reviews and considering location we thought we would give them a try. We were up for our normal service. It went well and the waiting room was comfortable and clean. That went well and we had a recall that service center we bought it from could never get to it. Well later the same day. They contacted me to let me know that they had the part and was ready for us. Well the fit is in the very next day. That was awesome and unheard of up in Maryland. We will be back.

Miranda Let me tell you about the service I received from this Express location. I brought my car to get my brakes changed, Tylus, Milton and Michael were so professional, and provided great service. I sat in the lobby while I waited for my car to be completed, the lobby was clean and comfortable with a coffee station. Thank God because I was there early and didn’t stop for coffee on the way. I will definitely be going back to Express Oil Change and will definitely be highly recommending them as well.

I spent $5000 on the repairs and expected my car to work better than ever, instead I’ve been to two more repair shops and need an additional $2000 worth of repairs. I’ve contacted Joe on multiple occasions asking about the warranty and I just get lies and excuses, NO ACCOUNTABILITY! If you need me I’ll be in Small Claims Court.

Patricia OBrien I was 2 hours away from home pulling my camper as a single woman with 2 dogs and my transmission goes out. Thank God I was only 5 mi away and my vehicle was able to be towed to this shop. I was able to finish getting to my camping place because I was brought another vehicle by a family member. These folks rebuilt my transmission with a warranty at what I researched to find out was a very reasonable rate. I was able to go camping for a week and on my way back through town pick up my Tahoe. So what started out as a horrible trip, turned out not to be quite as terrible as I was thinking it would be. Thank yall so much!

Jarrod Waguespack After I tried to fix my issue by doing a major tune up, I still had an issue. Brought it to a local shop who couldn’t find the problem and told me to take it to Franks. Called another shop who told me to take it to Franks. Franks had a waiting list so I patiently waited until a week later. I was still # 6 in the list when I dropped my truck off. They found and fixed my major, serious issue within a day and half for under $200! They have a new customer for life and I would recommend them highly! Knowledgeable, friendly and honest!

J B I was a bit skeptical at first, given the aesthetics. But I went with the recommendations I received, and Im extremely happy that I did. My trucks ac was only blowing cool, at best. They found a leak, repaired it, and then replaced the faulty blend door. This was over a 2 week period, in which Id drop off my truck on one day and pick it up the next because I needed it for work. Id highly recommend talking to Michele to see if they can help you if you need automotive repairs.

Cyndy Perry I had a great experience at Precision Auto Tune on Congress St in Lafayette, Louisiana. They kept me informed through the process and explained every detail of the auto care on my car. They were honest, hard working, and worked nonstop to repair my car. I never saw them take a break, eat lunch, or even stop for one moment for nearly 9 hours straight. They were fast and resourceful meanwhile helping and assisting other customers that were constantly driving up needing repairs also. Their lobby, bathroom, and work areas were clean and sanitized. Lacey worked well with the mechanics and vice versa with the mechanics. The mechanics were extremely diligent and knowledgeable keeping me up-to-date during the whole experience. I will recommend this shop to everyone I encounter that needs a vehicle repair shop. Great job!!!

DREKA Gates I wish I could give them zero stars. My daughter went over there alone she’s 20 and I guess they figure since she was young. They had them a fool they took $2000 from my baby and Car was worse off when they left after a week she had to get rid of it. I would not recommend these people at all. They are not honest people and all they care about is taking your money every day they’re gonna call and say something different and keep adding prices to it. Definitely some scam artist.

Zachary Schleter Amazing mechanic! Elizabeth (office manager) and Chris (mechanic) are both very helpful and talented at what they do. I brought my 2012 VW Golf here after the VW dealer up the road refused to service it. They identified the issue quickly, even calling around to other places I had my car worked on in the past to determine what services I was behind on so they could try to pinpoint where the issue was. Also, if you like cats, they have a bunch of rescued cats inside their shop, all very friendly!!! Will definitely be bringing my car here for all future services I need.

Allen Luff Jeff is a great service manager but Roger is very rude. After bringing my commercial van to them for over 4 years and spending thousands of dollars in repair cost I was told to never bring my van back to them again because I as the owner of the van calls to much for update on repair. Had to take the van back several times for the same repair but always paid the bill. Just spent over $700 and the van broke down on its very first run for the same problem. Dont recommend this shop to anyone.

Katie Braden Took my van in to get fixed(told them it was burning oil quickly and there was a problem with the valves) so what did they do to fix it? They just changed my oil for $95... Ive had to refill my oil 3 times since then (problem not solved) and who charges that much for an oil change??? Not happy. They did not listen to me at all.
