There need to be new management from the top down quickly!!!!. I had a family member recently passed at this hospital and the doctor nor nurses had the decency to communicate the passing of my father to my family. The so called ER doctor did not show his face and the nurses there did not have the decency to even say we are sorry for your lost. There need to be some serious empathy training. I know this could NOT be considered a critical access hospital with the lack of skill set and personnel. The ER doctor is a family physician and not ER or Tramua certified. I can only imagine if he had to place an airway or put in a central line. This place have sent many people home that seek their services, told them they were okay, and unfortunately died the next day or days after. You can look all of his information on the louisiana board of medicine. The hospital should not be employing someone who cannot take care of people in an emergency. The people of Winn parish need and deserve better care from someone who cares and have the skills to do so. Not for just they paycheck.
Jackson Family Dentistry - willacoochee - Willacoochee Pam Mar: My mom has been going to Jackson Family Dentistry for many years and even though her health has declined and she’s handicapped they’ve always been very compassionate about her care, ADA access, getting her appointments when she’s able to have someone drive her. I cannot thank them enough for their care and would highly recommend them!

In reality, the process is designed to make you feel comfortable up front. Everyone is very friendly. Amazing 3D images are taken to show you just what youre dealing with. The exam points out what teeth (all) will be moved and how long it will take. Then the prices are explained and if your insurance will help out. Mine did!
Make no mistake, there is pain and discomfort every day when you eat. You actually look forward to putting the braces back on to secure your teeth which feel like theyre going to fall out sometimes. I stay away from many types of food and Im careful to clean and floss frequently. Its not easy and fun, but not everything in life rewards you up front. Its whats at the end that I am looking forward to. And, just under halfway through, Im amazed at how far my teeth have moved.
Note: I still have yet to see any patients in there that are even half my age.
Moorman, Lindsey, & Crawford Dental - Douglas Jan Clements: Very kind staff. Dr. Lindsey is caring and an awesome dentist. His assistant is a joy to see. She is always bubbly and caring. For someone who doesn’t like going to the dentist, they make it a nice experience. Would highly recommend!
Cornelia Dental - Cornelia Samm Moody: They are always so kind and very quick, I never wait in the waiting room for more then 5 minutes. My teeth are not the best as of lately but they’re always so gentle when cleaning and always triple make sure that I’m ok. My son can’t stand the dentist but he’s always enjoyed going there and leaves with a smile. They just make you feel so comfortable there and they listen. 10000% recommend this office and the staff are amazing.
Dr. Holly R. Cantrell - Cornelia Meagan Rogers: We went to Dr. Cantrells office for a 2nd opinion. She came highly recommended from friends. When she came in and met us and spoke with our daughter she did an absolutely amazing job explaining everything to her and us. We chose to go with her for out daughters braces. Our daughter got her braces this week and they did an amazing job with her. She is 7 years old and felt at ease when we left. Everyone is professional and friendly. We highly recommend Dr. Cantrell!
