The highlight of our visit was our tour guide, Brock. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the history of the plantation to life in a truly meaningful way. Brock’s unique perspective and passion for the stories he shared made the tour not only informative but also deeply moving. His authenticity and warmth left a lasting impression on us. Rosewood is a beautiful and historically rich site, and with guides like Brock, it’s an experience not to be missed. Highly recommend
Alexandria Museum of Art - Alexandria Melissa Sorrelle: It was a good place to spend an hour while my husband was in Alexandria on business.You could see the bridge from upstairs but they are working on that area. Not the best bathrooms but everything else was nice.
Alexandria Zoological Park - Alexandria Andrea Schneider: The zoo was nice and had a lot more animals than I expected. Im not sure if it was because of the time we got there, but a lot of the larger animals were not out. Overall, there is a lot to look at, and we had a great time walking around and checking it out.
Treehouse Childrens Museum - Alexandria Jobrena Tucker: A lot of the activities were not in working order. I went with my grandson for a field trip and was very disappointed. I would not pay to take my child there. Hopefully, they are able to get the funds needed to make it a functional and educational place for children.
