5 /5 Ron Hodge: Wonderful view of the Mighty Mississippi. Atmosphere was tranquil. My wifes first time ever seeing the Ole Miss. What a thrill!
5 /5 Nikolai Mannsfeld: Liked the scenic area of the Mississippi River here. Great views, boats coming by, the seating, and of course, the river. Just a good place to get a scenic view of the river and city or to chill. You can also see the streetcar come by every 30 minutes too. Worth a visit!
4 /5 Naomi Sprung: It is vast and has an interesting coastline. The train tracks frame your view and walk onto the river banks and it is filled with boats and cruisers. The River itself is a bit murky, and does not give you an inviting feel that you would want yo jump in. But it is a great frame to the French quarter and New Orleans. It has a huge bridge spanning the River- I believe it’s the longest bridge in the States worthwhile seeing the great famous Mississippi River and the terrific views from the steps of the “Moonwalk”
5 /5 Louis and Elaine: I feel the Mississippi River in New Orleans is majestic and worthy of meditation. My issue is, it’s not possible to try to assign a location. The view from a river boat is totally different from Crescent Park. This view is different from Woldenberg Park, The Moon Walk, Spanish Plaza or any other place on the river. Any of these are different from the views from atop The Vue or Observatory 11. Rather there are countless views on which to meditate.
5 /5 Lisa Hudson: Beautiful Riverwalk. Quiet and peacefully designed near Jackson Square and French Quarter. Had history markers as well. Very nice.

Nola: Nice, quiet neighborhood park in Frenchman neighborhood. Its across the street from Ayu Bakery so grab a drink and Pastry then head over. Theres also AIDS memorial at the park. Stop to learn.
New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum - New Orleans

Cynthia Neshawait: It was only $10 to enter but it wasnt even with that. The museum consists of two rooms fills with replicas of things that you could find at Pier 1, and the writing describing everything was so small you could barely read it. It had a small gift shop where you could purchase gris-gris bags and other little jewelry and finds, that was cute. The woman at the front desk was very knowledgeable about juju and spells. When in New Orleans I suppose its a must see but dont expect to be there longer than 30 minutes.
    Gretna Italian-Irish Parade - Gretna
Sally Wightkin: It was really hot outside for parade participants but what made it difficult was that the parade stopped frequently really extending the time we had to be in the sun. Maybe it could be earlier in the year next time
Ogden Museum of Southern Art - New Orleans

Janet Williams: Such a gem! We loved the exhibits: Keith Duncans HBCU portraits were joyful and beautiful, Benny Andrews was a revelation, Hoa Tay (Flower Hands) was thought provoking and the images of New Orleans from the permanent collection gave us new insight into the creative history of a great American city. The Ogden is everything a local museum should be:a space for new voices, old voices with new perspectives and a beautiful space that fosters our imagination and dispels labels and eschews stereotypes. This was an afternoon well spent.

Debbie M: I love this museum! Wonderful exhibits! Last week I went 2 days in a row because I spent hours just on the 3rd floor my first day there. My visit began with a wonderful demonstration of their Aeolian organ on the 3rd floor. Surround sound from the roaring twenties! Very cool. Then I explored various exhibits about the history, people and traditions of New Orleans. Admission is free, just check in to get a ticket. Do not miss their wonderful gift shop next door!

    The Presbytère
zaetna . .: Absolutely INCREDIBLE experience. Amazing history highlight tragedy and celebration!! Loved seeing the vintage mardi gras costumes so well preserved. Definitely a must visit for New Orlean’s extensive history, it’s worth the money. I reserved tickets in advance for my trip and was sold a faulty one, the worker at the front desk was nice and let me in to see the museum regardless.
    The Moonwalk Riverfront Park -
    The Moonwalk Riverfront Park
陳愛玉: The Moonwalk Riverfront Park is a really nice place to take a stroll along the Mississippi River. Its a well-maintained walkway that offers lovely views of the water and the city skyline, including the impressive Crescent City Connection bridge. I particularly enjoyed watching the various boats and ships passing by, including some large steel boats, which was quite interesting to see. The park provides a great vantage point to observe the bustling maritime activity on the Mississippi. The park is conveniently located near many other attractions, such as the French Quarter and Jackson Square, making it a great addition to any itinerary. If youre looking for a peaceful escape with some interesting sights,

Olivia: Incredibly cool free (donations accepted) museum with passionate and kind staff. Its essentially a frozen in time "time capsule" experience, that gives you an interesting way to look back at 1940s America. Their collection and variety of items is very impressive. This is definitely worth a visit.
