5 /5 Gracie Lien: The tour exceeded my expectations. From the second we stepped onto the property, before getting on the boat, the staff was friendly and inviting. Our crew included captain Eddy and Julian as the deck hand. They were the perfect balance of professional and fun. We enjoyed the sites of the bayou, interacting with the gators, and hearing facts about the area. Thank you for the fun time! An experience I will never forget.

5 /5 Jamie Mac Donald: Great experience. We went on the Eco and Wildlife tour. It was great to get to see where the ocean and river meet to create a unique habitat. We did see Alligators but chose the tour to see the other wildlife. Captain Pip was a great tour guide and checked in the day prior. The location is closer to the French Quarters than the Bayou tours and Captain Pip new everything about the animals, plants, history, local resources, and preservation and safety processes being built for the city. They recently bought their current location and are developing it so you can see some of the plants right on the shore and it will be even better when it is completed! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in the areas wildlife, history, and preservation work!

New Orleans Museum of Art - New Orleans

Matthew Mittleman: Incredible European Catholic art, stunningly brilliant pieces. Not busy at all on a weekend, except for the parking, which is shared with city park and is where I imagine all passengers of parked cars went. The parking is all parallel on the side of the street and full which was irritating but not necessarily the fault of the museum. It’s overly expensive, around $40 per person for adults, make sure to make use of whatever discount you’re eligible for: Senior, student, teacher, etc. relatively small art museum, I come from Houston which is much bigger, but this museum is filled with many more pieces that are worthwhile to see than at the Houston Museum of fine arts.

Three Presidents Oak - New Orleans

Louis and Elaine: Not much to see, but three National Presidents stood at this site when this oak tree was planted. While not earth shattering in the scope of human history it is a nice reminder of something good and historic that occurred on this site. George W Bush with the Presidents of Canada and Mexico planted this tree in commemoration of Earth Day, April 22, 2008.

Bloody Marys Haunted Museum & Voodoo Shop - New Orleans

Ninfinity S.: Mary went above and beyond for my small group. Made the best of the situation when one was not feeling well and then some. Luckily, I got a tour of one of the cemeteries thats normally closed to public by happenstance and her family card. Made sure to show me the things Ive wanted to see for years and was able to visit my favorite authors resting place. She did a lovely blessing for my upcoming marriage. And in her museum, there definitely was someone making sure to let me know they were there and understood my past, if didnt know the happenings exactly but what I felt I understand. Mary was one of the best parts of our visit to Nola!

Nola: Nice, quiet neighborhood park in Frenchman neighborhood. Its across the street from Ayu Bakery so grab a drink and Pastry then head over. Theres also AIDS memorial at the park. Stop to learn.

New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum - New Orleans

Cynthia Neshawait: It was only $10 to enter but it wasnt even with that. The museum consists of two rooms fills with replicas of things that you could find at Pier 1, and the writing describing everything was so small you could barely read it. It had a small gift shop where you could purchase gris-gris bags and other little jewelry and finds, that was cute. The woman at the front desk was very knowledgeable about juju and spells. When in New Orleans I suppose its a must see but dont expect to be there longer than 30 minutes.

Sally Wightkin: It was really hot outside for parade participants but what made it difficult was that the parade stopped frequently really extending the time we had to be in the sun. Maybe it could be earlier in the year next time

Ogden Museum of Southern Art - New Orleans

Janet Williams: Such a gem! We loved the exhibits: Keith Duncans HBCU portraits were joyful and beautiful, Benny Andrews was a revelation, Hoa Tay (Flower Hands) was thought provoking and the images of New Orleans from the permanent collection gave us new insight into the creative history of a great American city. The Ogden is everything a local museum should be:a space for new voices, old voices with new perspectives and a beautiful space that fosters our imagination and dispels labels and eschews stereotypes. This was an afternoon well spent.
