It starts when I walk through the door with the relaxing aroma throughout the rooms. For her clients there is a comfortable heated table to lay on during your visit along with the perfect tunes playing to help you drift away. The quality of her work is outstanding! I receive so many compliments on my lashes. Reflections Beauty & Health Studio is the VERY BEST!!!

Stylers Family Hair Salon - Shreveport

Mike G: I walked in with no appointment. I was greeted and asked if there was a sign in, I was informed there was no sign in sheet. There were people already waiting in front of me so I had no clue on how long the wait would be. I waited for 25 mins watching other people who were already there or came in after me, go in for a haircut before me. These could have been appointments or regulars but after 25 mins I still had no clue on wait time. Finally one lady came out and told a young mother and her son that she had a opening in 30 mins. This mother & her son were there waiting before I walked in 25 mins ago. So it would be a 55 min wait plus the mother & son haircut before they would even think to get to me but I still had no clue on wait time. I could have gone to two other hair salons down the street if i knew what the wait time was from the beginning. From what I observed, they were friendly and good with the elderly and kids. They also had tanning booths. Made a second visit, this day it was not as busy and they had somebody working the front desk. I got in pretty quickly for a hair cut, the trim took about 7-10 mins for $12. That is just as fast and less expensive compared to Sports Clips, whom I usually visit but cost about $20 for the same trim. Service & conversation was great. I would probably revisit again but call in advance to see how busy they are.

Charlotte Sneddon: I’ve worked with this salon for a very long time. Under three different stylist. I’ve always put trust and stayed with the stylist after one has moved away. Most recently Taylor left and I was put with Tori. Tori recently left to pursue a different opportunity. I personally chose to stay with Tori because she is very talented like Taylor and Madasin were. I have had a very traumatic hair experience in the past by trusting someone who didn’t understand how to work with natural red hair and destroyed my hair. So having a great stylist and have the option to meet and discuss things with them first is very important to me. I never once received a phone call after Tori left to cancel either of my appointments or was given the option to work with someone else. Frankly very disappointed. The receptionist mentioned that two of them had been contacting people and my name was highlighted. Well I’ve had the same phone number since 2012, I have voicemail, and I have text. She also mentioned that some of the clients were getting frustrated with being contacted because they were following Tori and Miranda. Bottom line all clients need to be contacted no matter what…. Especially seeing as I’ve been a client there since 2017….what a horrid way to end things.

Lisa Mondal: I booked my appointment back in October. I called several weeks ahead to find out how long hair and makeup would take since I had a tight window for a company holiday party. They assured me I would not be rushed. I arrived on time for my Dec 16th appointment. After waiting 20 mins a customer walked in and was taken ahead of me for a blow dry. My stylist started my makeup finally at 2:47pm for my 2pm appointment and didnt even put mascara or eyeliner on. Finally at 330 she was done and I had to take my hair style down as I left since it looked so juvenile. I called after i left to speak to the manager and apparently the stylist I saw was the manager. She mentioned she could not issue a refund. I asked to have the owner call me so i could share my experience and still no call yet. Posting this for the owner to see and respond regarding my experience.

I give him full creative freedom and love what he does. A friend recommended him and I recommend him anytime someone asks. Bring cash though. No cards accepted.
