5 /5 Don McDonald: My 2009 Ford SportTrac Adrenalin recently developed a cracked engine block and I was in desperate need of a good mechanic to remove the old engine and install a "new" one economically because I had just recently purchased a new car for my wife and I didnt want to be in the position of paying for two new cars due to hers being totaled in an accident and my truck being out of commission as well! Plus, my truck is kind of unique and I wasnt quite ready to let it go! Dusty and his crew at Sheltons Automotive were recommended to me by another repair shop that couldnt fit me in and I dont regret contacting them at all! Dusty was up front and transparent in our initial conversation and after my engine arrived at his shop, they started on it immediately and had it repaired in less than a week. They even fixed an issue with my air conditioning and kept the overall cost at a minimum! So if youre looking for a dependable, reliable and honest shop for your car repair needs, you definitely wont go wrong choosing Dusty and Sheltons Automotive!

Let me see what tech I have available and call you back” can you guess who never called me back? Yep these guys. Had to sleep in paying lot until Lowes opened to buy a grease gun and just do it myself. So much for trying to support and local business when they don’t even call back or act like they want your business.

As he did several months earlier with my Volvo, he quickly diagnosed the issue and successfully repaired the vehicle. Junie B: They Tried to take advantage of me because i was young. Told me one thing then when my insurance had me change body shops, i was told something different. Very rude! Threatened to not release my car until i paid over 100 dollars. My insurance paid , but they just left my bumper on the ground, didn’t even bother to put it back in the car, even though when i dropped it off it was on. That’s just not the proper way to conduct business, they aren’t the only ones who were inconvenienced! Glad i found better people to take it to , who were understanding and nice!
