Iberville Museum - Plaquemine JackoHobo: Located in interesting and beautiful spot, walking access to the Mississippi River. I was hoping to see the Eschete exhibit, but its not quite ready, yet.
Ultimate Swamp Adventures - Westwego Vernita Phillips: I did NOT want to visit a swamp and no one was going to convince me to go!! Yall, I am so glad I had the opportunity to do this tour. Captain Nick was fantastic; he provided educational tidbits of the swamp, alligators, answered questions, allowed us to feed marshmallows to the gators (safely of course), he even kissed a few!! That is on brave man!! I loved his stories and you can tell he really loves sharing his knowledge. I was on the pontoon (covered) boat. I loved that he called the gators by name and more importantly HE RESPECTED THEIR SPACE!! I highly recommend this tour, we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The shuttle driver Hilary was so nice and that accent of his...my, oh my! I have no clue what all he said, but he got us to and from safely! I lost count of how many gators we saw, some even swam next to the boat until we reached another gators territory LOL! We also saw 2 Anhinga birds and insects that are native to the area. I truly enjoyed this tour and would do it again if ever in NOLA again.
Vue Orleans Observation Deck - New Orleans tkeyah barnes: This place is a must visit. A very fun/interactive thing to do. It was very educational I definitely recommend getting the all inclusive ticket so that you can get the full experience. We had a guided tour and our guide was amazing she was very kind and informative. We learned a ton about new Orleans history and culture. The museum had lots of different materials from the heritage. It is very educational. The visuals are out of this world. We saw a small film and got to ride the elvelvator up to the 33rd floor where there is an observation deck. The inside of the elevator is animated with a short film for your ride. On ce you get off you take picture and you can see oversee the city. Such a betiful view!! Once you’re done exploring you go back on the elevator to go on floor up, where there’s a cafe and they give you a complimentary drink. They have a outside deck where you can oversee the city as well. 10/10 highly recommend.

This is a must-do on your New Orleans adventure! I highly recommend it!
Mardi Gras World - New Orleans Barbara Janczak: We have visited NOLA several times and never knew about this Gem. Mardi Gras World is a stop that should not be missed and is a short ride from the Quarter. The regular ticket price is fair, but if you are lucky enough to find a Groupon it is even better. From the outside it does not look like much, just a large white metal warehouse, except for the very large King and Queen figures outside. As soon as we stepped inside, we were blown away, and the best was yet to come. Your visit starts with an interesting short video of the history followed by a piece of King Cake which was a little dry. Then you start with your tour guide who takes you through the process of making the figures and floats. Between tour stops there is plenty of time to wander and take pictures. You will not be disappointed. Visited 3/15/25.
Storyland - New Orleans Tim Cockrum: What a magical walk through. All the story books coming to life is such a sweet childhood memory that I know my family will cherish for forever. The train ride was way longer than I expected. It went around the whole park, which is insanely huge
The Singing Oak - Audri: Very beautiful! Part of a much larger park that has a little something for everyone. Beautiful scenic walks, a sculpture garden, amusement park, and probably other things i didnt get to!
Kraken House NOLA - New Orleans Andrea F: I have heard about this house through various social media platforms, seen it on news outlets and I have visited before. But I was unaware that it was actually labeled on the Google Maps. I love to see it decorated for Halloween the best, but they do decorate for Christmas and Mardi Gras. Be careful, the roads are terrible in this neighborhood. I think they keep them bad to prevent speeding. I love this house and the decorations! I hear that the family that owns the house and does the decorations does a lot of good for the community.
Audubon Aquarium - New Orleans Megan Clifton: We had a good time when we visited NOLA. It’s a nice aquarium. Lots of different areas to see. We LOVED the butterfly area. So many beautiful butterflies and they just fly around.
We wished there was more animals to see and more variety of insects as it was a lot of beetles. It’s kinda pricey but we enjoyed ourselves.
