4 /5 Karen Thomisee: Beautiful, havent been in but will go with others ..is a halfway House 4 houses down. I dont know if the crime is bad. But was approached in daytime and felt unsafe. Was taking pic of outside and confronted by a man..had a person with me. Not sure if I would go at night unless there is police presence. (Not bad message for mansion, its gorgeous. Did not expect anything) many other old mansions nearby.
5 /5 Danni Frekkles: This was the most wonderful Air BnB experience I have had so far! Beautiful place, i felt like I was in a time capsule. The host Lisa was WONDERFUL. The vibe in the house was very positive. It was cozy and very elegant. I felt safe, invited, and well taken care of. We had plenty of complimentary snacks and a wonderful breakfast provided to us. Breakfast in bed at my first bed and breakfast was a wonderful introduction to Shreveport. I highly recommend. I will be coming again, and telling everybody about it! We stayed in the master suite, wonderful claw foot bathtub to soak in and a huge shower. It was clean and serene. Thank You again Lisa for the wonderful stay. Absolutely 10/10
1 /5 I am a Maker: Lisa was the host and we stayed in this manor. I was so excited because it was historic place. But it was one of the dustiest and noisy place I be ever stayed at. She never mentioned that there was a train track and it blew its horn every hour. The worst part of it all was her condescending manner. They ran out of drinking water and I asked for more they only had two small bottles left. The staff said she had to go out to get more. It was 10pm so told her that’s ok. Then asked to have more in the morning. They still didn’t have it in morning so I said that’s ok and left. Lisa later that they left me a long message saying how she traveled the world and always knew what she needed. That it was my fault for not knowing. She then continued to say that her staff went above and beyond. I told her above and beyond is already having water and getting more of it before telling someone that they don’t have it. I’ve never stayed in a place where they ran out of water. Also it was way dirtier and worn then the photos. I really think Lisa has a huge room to improve as a host.
4 /5 Christina Bethalee: Closed every-time I tried to check it out or just not open to the public. Is in a rough area of downtown. I don’t recommend at night. No parking.
5 /5 Teresa: Booked a room with Airbnb. It was pretty cool and unusual. Very clean and vintage furniture. I couldnt sleep... definitely felt weird and possibly haunted.

Jeannie Grantham: Nice covered play areas. Good for younger kids. There is an outdoor workout area for adults, which is innovative! The splash pad looks like itll be a blast, I wish it was covered too but Im sure we will enjoy it this summer regardless. We often see people being there dogs here. Lots of large green fields for the kids to run in. Update* 5/19/25 We enjoyed the splash pad today! Most of the equipment was operational. There was a school having a trip there adding to the kids but it still wasnt bad!

    K. Koning: Definitely come here if you like history and/or ghosts because this place has both! My girlfriend and I went on a Thursday afternoon and really enjoyed ourselves! The exhibits are full of interesting trinkets found very close to the building itself. The man working the front, (Marty) is an absolute riot! He was very informative and answered many of our questions about Shreveports history and the objects within the museum. Theres definitely paranormal activity within this building, especially upstairs so its a must if youre into that kinda thing! Just make sure to touch the beard of the portrait of the man upstairs.. youll know him when you see it ! Its rumoured to be good luck!

Jeanette: Decent park. Defunct river cruise ramp needs to be removed. Rose sculpture were unique, probably better at night if they are illuminated. Fountain looked like it would have been pretty if it had actually been on, unfortunate it was pitiful with stagnant algae covered water. The highlight was the sensory garden and the police and firefighter memorial.

Dawayna Walker: The toilet paper holders in the womens restroom were broken and the toilet paper was sitting on the floor. Thats the only problem about this park. Its small, the location was really accessible, the parking lot was very close to the fields so if you dont have a wagon you can make a few trips back to your car to retrieve what you left.

Elijiah Atkinson: It was cool, good people , real history, southern hospitality. Even tho museum interest is definitely not on the top of the 20 and under crowds list of fun things to do, it was a good time for a couple old farts lol. Cant say enough how cool the tour guides were at this place and the water pumphouse museum next door. Great tours both places I definitely recommend checking it out if you in the area and havent visited before..... Been a long time since I took a museum tour that was educational and entertaining , and both guides were great. Bravo .
