5 /5 Frank M Durrance: Had a wonderful experience at Tiger Stop Tire on October 18, 2021. Was traveling from the Central Florida area toward Springdale, AR towing a brand new 40’ 5th wheel toy hauler. Was experiencing a slow air leak in the right rear camper tire. Losing 10# PSI per day initially, but over 3 days of traveling the leak gradually increased to about 15# PSI per hour. So, while passing through Oak Grove, LA, asked some local residents about finding a tire store, and was referred to Tiger Stop Tire.
The folks there could not have been any nicer. They had to move some vehicles out of the way to make room for my long rig. Then, they got started on the job right away. Very courteous young man jacked up the right side of an 18,000# camper, and very quickly found the problem. The metal valve inflator was mounted, from the factory, quite loosely on the rim causing the air leak. He tightened up the nut attaching the inflation valve to the rim, then tested for any further leaking. No leaks in that tire at all. Then, he checked each of the other three tires, and found 3 of the four tires were also leaking¡ but not as badly the right rear. All done in less than 30 minutes. Went inside to thank the owners and to pay for the services rendered. But they just asked me to tip the young man for his help. I had already done that, but now I think I should have tipped him more, and will find a way to do just that.
You rarely find this sort of prompt, honest, and competent service these days. How refreshing.
So, thanks again to the folks at Tiger Stop Tire. I would recommend them for any tire issues, and evidently from the equipment there, for mowing or bush hogs, and possibly small engine repairs as well.
