Suzie Tinjxiwilejjipopgle: Very sweet they allow open access! Especially after the disappointment of rip van wrinkle plantation, where everything is private access only. Not sure what you really pay to see.
Daniel James: The fact that you can walk around most of Kisatchie, camp even, for FREE, will never stop being awesome. Beautiful hills, forests, streams, rivers, what else could you want? Not much else, not me anyways.
(Oh yeah and theres a Loblolly Pine that circled the moon in the 70s.. WHAT!? Im not lying, look it up!)
Francina S: We tried to bike the Kincaid Lake trail, but we couldnt make the loop since the trail is not maintained all the way. Lots of fallen trees, branches and parts were not mowed at all. Given the snaky ( at least one cotton mouth) area, we were not comfortable trying to find the trail. It would have been great if signs would have warned us.
MayLee Loeaux: It was great! You can now do a little walking tour to see the baby joeys for $5 per person. Its a great family trip to take the kids and out of state family to go experience. Here are some photos from the other day! Enjoy!

Rick Loe: Very friendly, very clean and professional casino. We were very comfortable playing the machines as the seats were very good. The buffet had a nice assortment of food and everything we fresh and tasted good. Definitely recommend if youre in the area.
Tatyana Clark: Dionne was an amazing guide! My family has been settled in this area for generations after slavery. I knew that this plantation had much to do with that dark history. This wasnt a trip to look at a house for me, it was a solemn trip to understand more about myself through the past. I came away feeling like I knew more about how my ancestors (the enslaved peoples here) lived and survived. More black people should come back to pay respect. Dionne made this tour exactly what I needed. The hard truth. She didnt sugar coat anything or dismiss any difficult to talk about histories. As a black woman, she handled it with care and compassion. She always made sure to ask if my family and I were doing okay ever step of the way and it helped to ease my mind. I came away feeling more at ease than I thought I would. Thank you!
