5 /5 Andrew Keaveney: Beautiful park set on the edge of the river. From there, you can watch the boats float by and the sunrise ripple on the water. The place is quiet in the early morning with just a few joggers and walkers. A nice stretch of riverwalk lets you stroll for quite a while, and the whole area is pretty clean and cared for. If you go further north/east along the water, you can find some beautiful murals. All in all, sunrise there was one of my favorite parts of a day in New Orleans.

4 /5 Anthony Rivers: This was a nice park. I didnt see much of the park itself because I was attending the French Quarter Festival. The waterfront view of the park was really nice as well as being able to take a stroll in the boardwalk. If youre waking a dog or just out for a leisurely stroll this would be a great place to get away and enjoy. If youre visiting the area and need a break from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street this could be a great opportunity to take the trolley or even take a walk and get a little peace and relaxation with a view of the ships and other scenery.

Jackson Square -

Heather & Scott Barkell: Both weekends we visited there was lots going on in the area and the entrances are closed off to allow for artists, vendors and performers. The French Quarter festival was next level with people picnicking on the lawn listening to all the music. There food stalls and restaurants around the square.

Joe Kelley: Paid for parking 56,dollars and had recipe on my phone, walked around and had a great time until returning to my vehicle, every out of state car had a boot on it, called Admiral Enforcement, they dont care about your recipe for payment, I had to pay a additional 147 dollars to get the boot removed. A scam on parking there be careful

Mardi Gras Museum of Costumes & Culture - New Orleans

Theresa St. John: What a great museum - full of so many costumes and even a place where you can try them on (we didnt have time!) The Mardi Gras costumes are spectacular, fun to see up close and personal. Hoping to get back there to choose one to prance around in! Highly recommend - staff very friendly and know so much about NOLA history. Had a great time.

Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden - New Orleans

Frank Biermann: Pretty sweet spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a little while. We hopped on the streetcar from Canal and after a short 20-30 min ride we were enjoying the greenery in this free sculpture garden. Theres a bunch of sculptures to view and take photos with, loads of odd paths going over, under, and around. It was overall a great change of pace from the rest of the city and we felt like we were able to relax. Apparently this garden was just a small portion of the entire park, which we wish we had more time to explore.

Labyrinth in Audubon Park -

James Laciny: Fun little walking path put into the bricks. Takes 10-15 minutes to complete. If you’re nearby it’s worth checking out. I wouldn’t plan on making a trip just for this.

Mardi Gras Fountain -

James Doman: Im from Louisiana, but live in Florida and I havent been to the Lakefront in probably 25 years. It was great to see the fountain was still here. I remember as a teenager making plans with friends to meet up at the Lakefront, and using the Mardi Gras fountain as a landmark.

Confetti Park - New Orleans

Louis and Elaine: Confetti Park is a really cool little park. Not only is it very attractive it is well stocked with fun things for the young ones to use. Unfortunately we have had a week of heavy rain and rain the day we visited. This caused a fair amount of mud which is inevitable in a grass park. This is a really fun looking place that young people can enjoy.

Goldfish Island -

Louis and Elaine: The Goldfish Island is a very small island in a pond in City Park. One small bridge is available to cross onto the island. While very attractive the bridge is very hard to walk across, due to the large jagged stones from which it is made. Not much on the island but an interesting feature in the park.

Clue Carré - New Orleans - New Orleans

Aneesha Mishra: We had a lot of fun with Carnival Heist. The gameplay was really smooth, and starting in different rooms was a lot of fun. We thought it could’ve maybe been a bit harder—we escaped with plenty of time to spare without needing hints—but we did pick the room with the highest success rate so that makes sense. I would definitely come back here again to try another room!
