Wonder Oasis Waterpark - Shreveport (LA)

5 /5 Tiffanny Haacker: May 2025. We had a blast today!!!! I brought my 7 and 5 year old, and then I had my friends kids with us too, a 7 and 2 year old and there was fun for us all! I like how I could play in the kiddy pool with the 2 year old and also watch the older kiddos go slide down a big kid slide. We spent $230 on the family pack seasonal tickets, the 2 year old got in for free and the extra 7 year old was like $20 something to get in on just a day pass. The cooler we brought was a biggin. We paid $30 to bring a big cooler in. We ended up getting some dippin dots from the concessions, 3 mediums for $5 each which I didnt think was bad. I cant remember all the flavors they had but there was lots to choose from. Next time Ill probably skip the cooler and try out what they have available to eat and drink. No alcohol allowed and no smoking allowed. The place is being worked on, so the aesthetic isnt there at all but the generalness was clean, staff was friendly, and there was only one slide not operating for unknown reason and the lazy river is out of commission as well which i was def a little sad about. I do think they need to post menus and prices at ALL concessions and they need to have someone go in the bathroom at least once an hour to tidy up because WOW that was rough.

3 /5 Jessica Graham: Went during the week with a range of ages. The park was clean, food was quick, staff were friendly. However, the teens got bored quite quickly. The toddler section was lovely and inviting, but there were no other fun activities for older ages. Nothing to climb on, jump from, or other random activities. Just float or slide. I think this place has massive potential and it was a pleasant experience. but there should be music in the park. Adult beverages should be sold. Special events should be held. Decor and attractions around the lazy river..... Id love to make a habit of going many times each summer, but hard to justify the cost to go be bored around a pool. I truly wish the best for this park. Ive loved the attraction since I was a kid. I hope some more excitement can be brought to the park.

3 /5 Katie Traxler: Could be better The bathrooms had some water on floors but naturally you would expect that at a water park. Some doors don’t shut and some had no hooks for getting changed The pool at the bottom of the 4 main water slides had lots of junk in it and was tinted green. I got stuck 5 times on one of the water slides. Completely stopped and didn’t know what to do - half the time I was pushing myself down and that barely worked. At one of the concession stands they don’t take cash so be sure to bring a card!!!! If you want mini melts go to the gift shop. Other than that, the wave pool was mostly clean except for some dirt and grass in the shallow end which is understandable. The kiddie play area was nice and everything else seemed fine. The food was pretty decent. The fries were well seasoned. And decently good service from the employees.

3 /5 Anna Espinosa: I had sent an email about our experience with no response, so Ill post here. Our visit was July 8th, for my sons birthday party where we paid for the VIP party. Firstly,  there was no table reserved for my son. We were told to just sit anywhere in the party area. There was one other party at one point, then some other family came and sat down as well. It felt like we paid extra for no reason. We even had to hunt down the office to receive the birthday shirt that is a part of the VIP package. There was also no "visit from smiley". The bathrooms were run down and filthy. The bathroom checklist seems to have never been touched as it was completely empty. Despite fairly long lines, there was never more than the main food vendor open. They also ran out of Sprite around 2, which was unfortunately when my son decided he would like to get a drink. Several slides have been removed and replaced with nothing. No mention of this was made on the website or otherwise. Coupled with the short hours on the right side of the park, it felt crowded. There were hardly any available floating rings, and many were deflated and lying in random places. The water in every pool was littered with floating pieces of concrete debris and outright trash. The park itself was littered with diapers, clothes, and just random garbage. I only saw someone cleaning up close to closing. There were places where the concrete was broken and just pieces laying around, including in the little splash pad where the smaller children play. It was nice that they seemed to have gotten new foam pads for the slides, though. However, three of the slides were closed off and unavailable. I feel its unacceptable for a park to run while not only not being transparent about the broken or missing attractions. But, having broken concrete floating in your water and dangerous unfinished decor where attractions used to be.

2 /5 Rita mustang: We came after 4 pm on a Saturday (1 July 2023). Free parking…and because of the time we arrived, we were able to park pretty close to the entrance after circle around for less than 3 min. The wait to get in was ~5 min. The lazy river and 2 of the big slides were closed. Lifeguards and staff were very friendly and helpful! It wasn’t crowded and we got to try everything as many times as we wanted to our hearts’ content. The park is a tad dated and the grounds and stairways to the slides could use a good power washing. Lots of cracks in the cement. Overall a great first experience for us! For folks on a budget, general admission pricing after 4 pm was ~$15/pp (adults & kids). Additionally, they are military friendly for discounts…we ended up getting season passes. UPDATE. Returned just 1 week later on Sat, 7/8/2023, at about the same time in the day, and the experience was VERY disappointing. Due to staffing shortages, 1/2 the water park was closed (everything on the wave pool side of the park) and a few of the slides in the area that was open, which made standing lines longer for the 3 slides that were open. What was possibly worse than the closures & long lines was that the pool water was DIRTY!…lots of debris in the main large pool. The crowning “cherry on top” of grossness was that when we returned to the parking lot to leave, some disgusting person had left a dirty diaper on the ground. Unlike the excitement we had when we arrived for the first time at this waterpark just 1 week ago, today we were more excited to leave. I wonder if the other Splash Kingdoms (3 in TX I think) are like the one located in Shreveport…I’m hoping they’re much better!
