Melissa Wilkerson I’ve been to all of the Chads in Lake Charles and Sulphur as well as almost every other pawn shop there is here in LC, NOT EVEN ONE of them compare to Chads on Broad st. And that’s bc of Arthur! He is very knowledgeable about the stuff in his store. He always goes out of his way for his customers. That’s why Chads on Broad is the only pawn shop me or anyone else in my family will go to and it’s been like that for years! The owner of Chads won the lotto when he employed Arthur to manage one of his stores.

Pane Of Reality Channel I have to say, Chads is a super place to pawn or to purchase. They are very easy to work with and they let you know through their actions that they appreciate your business. There are a lot of shifty characters in the pawn business (I suppose) but these guys are the opposite. They are very forthright and honest. I would highly recommend them to do business with.

bonsaai It’s places like this that make driving from out-of-town worthwhile. I was looking for a specific item for an anniversary gift, and they had the perfect one. There are truly unique things to be loved here. The staff are eagerly friendly and made us feel welcome.

Got both my fiancée’s engagement ring and our wedding bands done custom here and Mr. Micheal never settled for less than the perfect ring that I had imagined! Highly, highly recommend for any and all of your diamonds needs.

Toree A Vandyke I went in here to just see about selling some of my jewelry. The older ladies in the back were so rude and I immediately felt so uncomfortable. I let them look at the items I brought and quite literally turned their noses up at everything. I had come in from the pawn shop down the street and the girls there were so sweet and recommended I go here to see if I could get more. I was at this place less than 10 minutes and the ladies said this was stuff I should sell on Facebook because they would give me at the most $20. This was for 6 diamond rings, a pair of earrings and a necklace. I understand that they have to resell it and it’s not even the amount I’m upset about. It was the treatment and how they addressed me. Like I was wasting their time. They were sitting in the back doing nothing. I will never understand how people in retail or anything where you are providing a service to others can get away with acting so cold to people just coming in to ask a question and see if they can help. They had beautiful items, so if you know what you want and don’t care about getting positive treatment at the hands of elderly women, this is the right place. Otherwise, the pawn shop .8 miles away has amazing service and just as beautiful items.
