Gwendolyn Bell Tasha is my stylist. Tasha has been my stylist for many years. She knows exactly what I want done without me telling her. She is always kind and friendly to me. The service is great, make your appointment and go see her.

Justin Spector I made an appointment for 5:15 and I arrived in time. As soon as I walked in the employee told me she was not longer taking customers. I explained that I had an appointment scheduled and she said she hadnt been to the computer in the last hour. I suggest saving your money and going to a different establishment. It was truly remarkable how rude this employee treated me.

Sravani Kolluru This is my favorite place for a haircut in Alexandria! The staff is incredibly sweet and welcoming. Me and my husband get our haircuts here, and they always do a fantastic job. The attention to detail, consistency, and friendly service make every visit enjoyable. The salon is clean, well-maintained, and has a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great haircut!

Naomi S Alanah (sorry if I spelled name wrong) is awesome. I called Friday May 31st because a stylist cancelled on me first thing in the morning. I was really looking forward to getting my haircut done that day, as I was doing a big chop on my thick wavy/curly hair. I called this place, and they were able to fit me in that day due to a cancellation. I was nervous especially since I was getting my hair cut pretty short, and showed Alanah the reference picture I had, but she seemed confident and not afraid to cut my hair like previous people I’ve dealt with, which definitely made me feel better about getting my cut done with her. She did an awesome job, and took her time with my hair which I appreciate. I was basically speechless after she got done, and in shock because I looked like a different person. The price of the cut, for how much she did, which included the haircut, washing, drying/styling my hair, was not bad at all. I expected it to be around 70$ish but it was 51$. Will definitely be making future appointments here.

Never golden and never gray, the perfect white tone that I have never been able to get anywhere else! I cannot say enough good things about Laura’s Day Spa and my hairstylist, Tara!

Ashley Hart I initially came in to purchase a massage for husband for Valentine’s Day, and I was greeted by Tara and she was really nice! I waited so that I could speak to the massage therapist and while I was waiting I saw the results of a clients hair dye change, so I asked Tara if she could do what I had been wanting, she told me absolutely she could take care of me! I a little later spoke to Cheryl about the massage and I purchased that and set up my husband’s appointment. A few days later I returned for my hair and Tara did an amazing job and I am in love with the results! She gained a client for life!! I also booked a couples massage for March! Everyone there is so nice and makes you feel welcome! If you need to be revitalized or want a new look or even to maintain your mane I would come here! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you ladies!!!!

Tracey Lemoine Had nano brows done by Katelyn this weekend!! It was my easiest brow experience so far!! Katelyn was very patient and made sure I was happy with my results! And best outcome is that they look beautiful and I didn’t experience as much pain as I have had in previous eyebrow treatment!! I definitely recommend Katelyn for your eyebrow needs!! Very professional lady!!

Alice Kinn Update, I did have issues with previous appointments. But I was contacted by a member of management (Teri) and ask if they can make up the bad experience Ive had. I came in for my appointment and the staff was very friendly and professional. The experience with the treatment was far more detailed than previous. The professional walked me through it step by step. At times I was actually relaxed and enjoying the treatment. I am looking forward to seeing the results in the next few days to weeks. I definitely will consider coming back if or when needed.

Heather Joubert Had a 4pm appointment with Alyssa although fairly certain that it was supposed to be Laura. Last minute appointment so Im grateful and arrive on time. Was told she was finishing up blow drying a client. No problem. Figure 5, 10 minutes. Forty minutes later she finishes. No acknowledgement the whole time. Not even when finished. Just ignored me. If I was a walk in then ok but I made an appointment which means I value their time to make and keep an appointment. My time was not valued and I was definitely not valued as a customer. Having worked in customer service since I was a kid, Im usually pretty patient especially if someone acknowledges it. Any sort of acknowledgement would have eased my frustration significantly. Nothing. Told the older lady who checked me in that I was leaving after waiting 40 minutes especially since I was never acknowledged and told her to have a good one. 0 out of 5 stars.

Beverly Rivers New in town and I needed a haircut. First of all it was about 60 degrees in the salon and I was sitting in the chair shivering. My hair was past my shoulders and I explained to the stylist that I wanted it touching my shoulders because I wanted to get a wave later. I even showed her several pictures of similar styles. I ended up with a flat cut bob two inches above my shoulders with one side shorter than the other. If I get a wave now I’ll have a fuzz ball on top of my head. At one point as she was blow drying my hair, she burned my scalp. When I said it was too hot she turned the dryer to cold to finish my hair which was still damp when I left. I won’t be back.

Chad Spencer My wife was told to call to speak with a manager she called several times on Monday, with no one picking up the phone. After several attempts someone finally answered the phone and she was told on Monday that the salon manager was not there. On Tuesday, she called again she called several times no answer, then after several attempts she was told the Salon Manager was not there. When will the Salon manager be there so she can call to speak with you, like she was told to do?

Jackie Martinez Mary has been taking care of me for a long time and she is one of the best. I love this salon. They have exceptional stylist and I enjoy every visit. Ready for my next trim!

Jaidyn Meyers Unfortunately although I firmly felt the stylist was very nice, the bangs I got were the worst I’ve ever had. The cuts were uneven and choppy and the bangs went very far back, some pieces weren’t cut, and overall I think I’ll have to go get them fixed somewhere. It may have been a miscommunication on my part, and I did not realize how thick and uneven they were until I got home, so they may have been able to fix it if I’d realized in the salon, although I’m not sure if they even can be fixed. Nice people, nice salon, but on this occasion, a poor bang.

Lexi Hubbard I went in for a pretty drastic haircut. I had a great experience and Lauren did a great job. My hair feels amazing and I feel amazing about the cut! Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely continue to go there.

Gabby. B The staff was very polite and friendly. But I went Easter weekend to get my hair straightened I have natural hair that’s not at all hard to manage. And now I have SEVERE damage to my hair. Usually I can get a silk press and never ever have heat damage ever. But my stylist moved away and I tried this place out. Now my curls are most definitely not reverting back. My hair still smells burnt I washed it and deep conditioned it for an hour. Now I’m sure I have to CHOP my hair.. I believe it was the old school tools that was used. But my fault for booking last minute on Easter weekend. Customer service was good. The stylist that did my hair just wasn’t trained for natural hair I guess

Patsy diBenedetto It is a very friendly place. They are the best at cutting hair. They talk to you about how you would like to have your hair done. They are very knowledgeable about if the cut is right for you. Every time I leave there, I get compliments and they want to know WHERE I got my hair cut.

Michaela Bell This is one business, that you want to book with for all your hair and skin care needs! I’ve had my hair braided by Amanda and she is my favorite braiders in Alexandria. The service she provides is one of the best! She’s professional, kind and has some great quality work! She’s makes sure your comfortable and makes sure you are satisfied with your hair (hair color mix as well, before getting started). Definitely one to book with in Alec, and worth every penny! Also! I’ve gotten (Brazilian) waxed by Deshondra, and she is great as well! My first time she made sure I was comfortable and the vibes were unmatched! She is definitely great, and I would recommend her to any first timers. Pain was about a 4/10, and following that it has been very minimal! Book with Beyond the Mirror, you will NOT be disappointed ☺️
