The office is bright, fun, and designed perfectly for little ones. The staff is absolutely incredible—warm, patient, and so kind with children. They took the time to explain everything in a way my kids and my wife could understand, making them feel like little dental pros by the end of the visit. Dr. Nathan is a true gem—gentle, funny, and fantastic at putting both kids and parents at ease. Maddi Lynn Billiot We definitely recommend Jackson Oral Surgery. He took his time to explain the procedure, the benefits and the risks. He gave a detailed diagram of the healing process with step by step instructions. The procedure was quick. My sons healing process was smooth and went with no problems. He had no bruising with very minimum swelling. The office is very conveniently located even for patients from out of town. His office was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Allyson Presswood Ive been going here for several years and always receive good care and friendly conversation. I took my kids for the first time today (after a horrible experience at Taylor Dental and having a lot of trouble getting appts anywhere else) and everyone was fantastic with them (5 to 8 yo). The dentist was kind and put them at ease and the two hygienists were better than the other pediatric dental places weve been. They explained all the tools, went over how to brush and floss, let them try the water squirter and vacuum, etc. Great experience and I definitely recommend them for kids and adults!

Keke DO NOT GO HERE!!! Staff is unprofessional. Staff was having a conversation about the patient in the next room about how bad her breath was. I felt uncomfortable here and the staff have too many personal conversations. I am reporting this to the BBB as well. The way they talk to patients is just rude. This place needs to be shut down. Also they don’t follow up when they say they will.

Lorie Bourgeois First impression walking in, quaint and familar with the local art on the walls and most likely music from Pandora playing. The staff was pleasant. I was greeted by name as I approached the e receptionista desk. I was seen in a timely manner and given a satisfactory amount of time and attention by the periodontist and assistant. I felt pretty confident leaving there that Dr Hebert was going to be my guy for the procedure I need done. My only complaint is that the up front fee of $149 wont be applied to my procedural cost. I think this is not exclusive to this office.

Peyton Bullard I am 86 years old and went to Dr. Schmidt today for the first time because my regular dentist is retired. I only wish I had him and his staff for the past years. Dr. Schmidt and his whole staff were very kind and knowledgeable. They really care & to a senior citizen who had no insurance it was like a gift from God. J C Hopkins Lost two temp crown caps that were put on two of my teeth by my dentist several states away. In New Orleans working and caps came off. Stopped in to Metairie and they had be in a chair and all fixed up in 30 minutes for a super good price. Very nice and extremely professional and talented staff. Great Place

Pepper Roussel Murphy was my dentist before I moved away in May 2023. I had been returning to the area quarterly so it was easier for me to remain as a patient and just schedule for when Im in town. Since May 2024, my situation changed meaning I am no longer back as often. However, I have chosen not to change the service to where I live. Since I was last here in November 2023, they have added a fleet of hygienists, another dentist, and downsized the front desk from 3 to 1. Its not all good. My main complaint is as a cash customer, I was sure to *confirm* the cost of a cleaning both with the receptionist before the appointment was made and with the hygienist before the x-rays began. That cost was $149. Post x-rays, the hygienist brought in the dentist to tell me that, based on the x-rays, I would need an in-depth cleaning (a paraphrase) and a filling replacement. That cost would be $1503. No cleaning later, at check out somehow the x-rays and the "dental consult" to deliver the news was $146. So unless I can get a full cleaning for $3, the math is not mathing. Meanwhile, the front desk clerk could only tell me that she was sorry I got bad information and her manager was unavailable to talk with me.

I felt deeply cared for by the team! Gina the care coordinator helped me to feel not so alone in sifting through payment options. She broke down the cost and informed me of my options. Tonya ended my visit on a great note and set up my next appointment! Overall it was a great experience! The only downside was parking, just make sure to come a bit early to find a spot!!

Sophia Grisoli 10/10 and then some!!! I never thought I would actually look forward to going to the dentist but the staff at Metairie Modern Dentistry make it such a sweet and light experience. Tonya is phenomenal—she is very charismatic which made me feel comfortable upon arrival. She made check-in smooth and made sure I knew all the run down with insurance and payment information. From what I see she runs the ship and does it very well! I saw Dr. Lockhart, who took the time to greet me and walk me back for my first appointment which felt very personable and caring. She listened thoroughly to my previous dental experiences and took note of my (usual) difficulty to numb. Throughout her exam she vocalized each step and explained things to me which made me feel informed and apart of the process. I had to go back for a couple fillings and Dr. Lockhart numbed me completely on the first try(!!! all previous places I have been to usually took a few tries) and was so gentle and efficient. Her calm, warm demeanor and clear communication make me feel like I am in good hands. Highly recommend Metairie Modern Dentistry! Thank you for making the dentist a less scary place. You guys are awesome!

Dr. Saenz is highly skilled in laser technology and I appreciate her thorough and straight forward approach. I have a very unusual high sensitivity problem (causing much anxiety) which Dr. Saenz and staff address in all of my treatments. My favorite aspect of my ongoing experience is that she is coordinating communication with my dentist and endodontist. Everyone is on the same page!

God Gets The Glory I had a beautiful dental visit. I was getting a tooth extracted and the workers were very nice. This one guy who assisted Mr. Morgan helped me feel very comfortable and Mr. Morgan was very nice and he made me feel that I was in good hands.
