Fikisha Daniels I am upset that we paid almost $600 then not even 3 days later it the tooth broke again. When you have a professional business you have to treat it that way. However after returning a few days later they want us to pay another $1000. Definitely not professional work or acknowledge that the product was faulty and did not fix the problem. Not happy with the service we have received.

Didnt even feel the tooth get extracted. Tho communication i was was told 3 different prices but could have been early and a little miss understanding. They even personally handled my issue with the pharmacy. Would recommend any time!

Heather Robertson I had a severe infection under my crown and abscess. I was in horrible pain and so anxious about losing my tooth and the cost of repair. Dr. Tarver put me at ease as he always does. He explained everything he was doing which relieved my anxiety. Repeatedly asked how I was doing making sure I was okay. He got me in that day for an appt when someone canceled. Felicia Magee The staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable, every department worked well with the next. They answered all my questions had a great payment plan with decent interest rates and low monthly payments. All in all a great experience.

M Williams Ads show they do implants… they don’t. On initial visit when treatment plan and pricing was being agreed on, I was presented with a package price allowing for insurance payments. Office manager kept asking me, “how much money do you have?” despite me assuring her I had enough to cover the agreed upon price. None of her business how much I had. Months after subsequent visit I received a bill via mail for additional charges. That bill was fast tracked to a collection agency when I didn’t pay it promptly, in spite of still having much more work to be done under the signed agreement. After paying the bogus additional charges, I now am going into 3 months trying to get my permanent dentures set. Appointments to get the services already paid for keep getting rescheduled 2 or more weeks out. Just got a call that my appointment to pick up my final denture set has been pushed out until after the holidays in January. Stay away from these vultures. You can get much better service from other local offices.

Tere Bohannon First let me say this is not a mark for the staff at the dental office in Monroe, its the appointment phone center. They asked what I needed done, I told her, she made my appointment for 2 in the afternoon. I live 45 minutes away, just had back surgery 4 weeks ago and Im told that what I need to have done they only do at 8 am. I told the nurse that i explained what I needed to the appointment person and this was the appointmenti was given, do they not get trained at the appointment centered? I was not pleased, This was a waist of time for me as well as the busy staff at the Monroe office. I actually made another appointment but am going to cancel and find someone closer to home that doesnt use appointment centers.

Jessica Russell Dr. Sharbono and his staff are amazing! The atmosphere of the office is very relaxing and calming. They are very patient and will listen to your concerns. Dr. Sharbono is also very thorough at explaining the dental work and what he’s doing when working on your teeth.

Makenna If I had to recommend a dentist to anyone it would be Monroe Family Dental. I didn’t go to the dentist for years and had so much anxiety to even walk through the door. I got greeted with nothing but kindness from every single employee they have. As soon as I sat down my hygienist explained every step she was going to do as she did it as well as why it was necessary. She asked for permission before doing anything and did not rush me at all. When I found out I needed dental work they accommodated my schedule and told me my estimated out of pocket with plenty of time in advance. They will take the time to find your instance if you’re from out of state. If you’re looking for a new dentist do not hesitate to go to Monroe family dental.

Marlin Jordan I put off going to a dentist for many many years for various reasons and finally searched for a dentist that accepted my dental insurance. 1000sargon Rachal Great Experience! The reception staff was very nice upon my arrival to the Dentist office. Wait time was minimal. The dental assistant who took my x-rays and looked at my teeth was excellent. Dr. Rachal took the time to explain what was causing my pain and even allowed me to look at my x-rays and CT Scan with him, to see what was going on. No drilling was necessary this visit! That makes it a great one!!

They are quick with getting us in and out, but are always willing to sit and answer any and all questions. They really listen and take their time gaining your child’s trust. They try to make it a happy and fun place to be. I honestly couldn’t recommend a better place or team to trust with your child’s dental needs.

Anthony Trader All around its ok. I had to call in 3 weeks after blood work. I had to make an appointment just to get answers. I was told if it isnt life threatening they dont contact. Well, my bad cholesterol was over double of were they would of liked to see it and my good cholesterol was very low........NOT LIFE THREATENING?! Also, my dentist and I came up with a plan, pull all top remaining teeth for a full top plate and bridge the bottom. The bottom extraction was abnormal as far as healing and scarring but he absolutely butchered the two top ones. Took three months to heal right. I actually quit tobacco for this. So I never went back for the remaining top ones to be extracted. Im satisfied with behavioral health for the most part. The pharmacy is on top of things.

Ms.S PSA: Both buildings of primary care are seriously lacking. Ive been a patient for over 9 years, starting back in high school, and this place is the slowest Ive ever experienced. Sure, people have appointments, but if someone is 45 minutes late, why are they getting called before walk-ins? They dont follow any order for patients coming through the door. Today, I was skipped over multiple times by women who arrived at least an hour after me. The wait times can be incredibly frustrating and even depressing for many. I witnessed another woman crying because she felt uncomfortable after sitting there for so long. I completely understand her feelings—every visit takes 3-4 hours! You practically need a day off just to go here. I’ve seen reviews mentioning that if you’re not a regular patient, they won’t refer you, and that’s spot on. If they don’t see you often and you walk in needing something, don’t expect any help. Today was my last day dealing with this nonsense they call healthcare. It’s slow care or no care, honestly. They’ve even been called out on Facebook for giving fake diagnoses. Be careful—make sure everything they use on you is clean. I had a bad experience where a woman used a dirty tongue test on me, and my mouth started tingling right away. I asked other patients if my mouth was swelling because it was tingling so badly, and they confirmed it. Just a heads up, don’t waste your time here!

Chasity Jenkins Not the best place for special needs children. Wait times are long. Staff is impatient and rude. During intake of insurance, I was cut off several times while trying to answer questions and then told I was rude. I expressed the need to email proff of insurance prior to appointment so that it can be verified to cut wait time 1-2hrs, Michelle the account manager responded saying it was a HIPAA violation to do so ...... Which is ridiculous and not true. My daughter had several visits here all experiences were unkind. September of last year during x-rays, as my daughter was placing her chin as told , the x-ray tech became impatient palming her head on both sides and shoved it forward. Mind you, the child is 3 years old. I gave a firm stare but didnt address it as not make my child become more anxious than she already was. We have private insurance. So if you have private insurance, try your luck else where

Desaray I had an appointment scheduled for 2 PM. I got there at 1:50pm. I was told I couldn’t be seen because the dentist office doesn’t see adults after 3pm and that I would have to reschedule my appointment. I got there at 1:50. I was told I received a message saying my appointment was canceled, but I didn’t, the front desk person confirmed I didn’t. I feel like if I got there at 1:50 I should’ve been able to be seen or at least told in advance my appointment was canceled because I was wasting my time coming up there. So now there isn’t any availability till August.

Sweetie Pie My children are previous patients here we have new private insurance and my daughter has not been here in over a year initially it was a mistake or an accident having an appointment here because I got them mixed up with another Louisville Avenue dentist, but I kept the appointment. I got a call yesterday on April 9 of 2025 asking me to confirm my 1 o’clock appointment For my daughter at that time, I asked if they have any sooner availabilities, they said yes we have a 1045 11 o’clock yesterday morning well around 3:30 yesterday afternoon I Taylor dental confirming the 1045 appointment keep in mind I do not live in Monroe. My daughter stayed out of school I So even though I got a confirmation call yesterday from Taylor dental confirming the 1045 appointment This morning on the Louisville Avenue location they said we do not have a 10 I spoke to the office manager and showed her proof in my phone where I spoke to them twice yesterday she said that I understand what you’re showing me, but I want to bring you here to show you. We don’t have any appointment. She did apologize on the behalf of the customer service department, however She also said that this happens with them all the time this is absolutely unprofessional people take their time off work in school to be here to only get here and be told that there is no appointment I ended up having to wait to the original 1 o’clock appointment and then when I went back for the 1 o’clock appointment it was about 135 when she finally got called back one of the ladies at the front desk seemed frustrated, and when I came back for the second time, I heard her yelling saying something to the effect of I wanted to keep my job today. I’m still here. I took that as her referencing the incident from earlier you guys need to get your stuff together and be on the same page as the customer service department where these mistakes don’t happen.

Dr. Scott was my and my husbands dentist for thirty seven years. He took care of our smiles for all those years as well as those of our children. When we recently moved from the area, it was so hard to leave the comfort of Dr. Scotts practice! He even recommended a colleague whom he knows personally in our new city!
