Ezras Closet and Grow For Food The bridge work I had performed was not successful; I now have an infection in my upper jawbone with bone deterioration and need an extraction, bone graft and implant. I did not need this in my life right now; its adding extra stress also because I have an artificial hip implant and the infection could travel to the implant, so I MUST have this procedure done ASAP. Its going to cost almost $4k. I have to get a medical loan in order to afford it. Im feeling powerless right now and am so angry. Not a good time to ask for my feedback.

I came in terrified and left feeling not only relieved, but hopeful for the first time in a long time. Dr. Camenzuli performed a root canal that was completely painless and impressively quick — something I never thought I’d say! He took the time to explain everything, made sure I felt in control, and never rushed the process. A huge thank you as well to Vy, his assistant, who basically held my hand through the entire thing. Her calm presence and kindness made all the difference and helped me feel safe from start to finish. Now, we’re working together on a comprehensive treatment plan at my pace. There’s no pressure, just support, understanding, and genuine care. If you’ve been avoiding the dentist out of fear or past experiences, I promise Dr. Camenzuli and his team will change your mind. They did for me.

NarDy NarD As for the dental appointment, it was a root canal that was needed to get me back to action... it was a 10/10 experience, pain level was the 1/10 and he only had to shoot me.. maybe two times and I was numb... its jus beginning to wear off (5hrs later) That was way better than I anticipated and far better than the last experience I had with a different dentistry for the same procedure. This took about 2 hours. Id DEFINITELY recommend & go back to get more work done. Dude is definitely a master wizard in his profession! -- Hes like Doctor Strange.. gifted hands, with (seemingly) all the fundamental & advanced knowledge. Completely professional & technically efficient. Color me IMPRESSED & satisfied.

My only complaint is that his business office staff did not bill my Secondary insurer for their portion of my wife and I Dental charges, causing my wife and I to pay Erroneous out-of-pocket Expenses, that were Covered by our secondary insurer, Creating an undesirable Credit balance on our Dental office account record. Im hopeful that Future Charge omissions Covered by our secondary insurer will be corrected.

He took the time to explain every detail of my x-rays clearly; I feel confident that my dental health is in good hands with this team. The entire office staff was friendly and welcoming.

Brandon Bennett I went in as a new patient. I had a consultation about my dental health and took their advice for the SRP. I had Liz for my cleaning and she was absolutely wonderful! Very kind and personable. My visit was quick and pain free. She is hands down the reason that I will be coming back here for all of my dental needs!

FRANLISA WILLIAMS Was misled over the phone as a self pay patient with their Mint plan. Upon booking I was told the plan is $150 and $15 a month and my cleaning would be $60. I’ve never had a cavity, no fill ins and never had a tooth pulled. My teeth are super healthy. They take you to the back get X-rays and impressions see the dentist for a quick 2 min. Then boom here comes the BS, “your cleaning today will be $260”. I’m like excuse me ma’am!!! Is this in addition to the $150 I just paid, she’s like yes. I’m like wow this some expensive cleaning. Please get me out your cute little massage chair and refund me ASAP. The cost wasn’t even justifiable. A complete waste of my time then I was told they couldn’t issue the refund in house, I have to send an email. If you are self pay don’t do it!!!

Mark Boyd I’ve been a patient at Mint dentistry in New Orleans since I’ve moved here just over 6 months ago and needed extensive dental work done. To say I am satisfied as a client/patient wouldn’t do justice to their entire team and the experience I’ve had. From the receptionist being easy to communicate with and very prompt about making sure I get booked in as soon as I walk in the door and booking follow-up appointments before I leave after services. In addition I’ve dealt with two separate dentists and had the best care I’ve ever received. From a root canal, extraction, bridges, and crowns to a deep cleaning all the procedures have been done painlessly and also carefully explained to me as well, so I knew what to expect before they started. I am happy to say that this is the best experience with any dentist that I’ve ever had.

ilene barton I came in with a painful, impacted wisdom tooth and made it clear that I wanted that addressed first. Instead, I was pushed through a care plan that prioritized cleanings, fillings I didn’t urgently need, and even the removal of other wisdom teeth that aren’t causing problems. Five different people spoke to me about pricing, but none actually listened to my concerns. They seemed more focused on maxing out my insurance than helping me with the issue I came in for. I left feeling unheard and frustrated. Be cautious if you go here—advocate for yourself.

Sara Raine I had to have a wisdom tooth extracted and was very nervous about it. The employees working for 7 Oclock dental put me at ease and made the process so much easier for me. I legit didnt feel a single thing when they were removing my tooth! They made sure to go over the recovery process with me afterwards too! I highly recommend them if youre in need of any dental work. They are extremely professional! They also take Medicaid which is awesome too! A big thank you to the team for helping me get over my fear of the dentist and making my visit awesome!

Did I mention I went to another dental office just in August and they could not fix my problem. Christine Toca I really don’t like that parents cannot go to the back. My daughter informed me that the girls that were working There were very unprofessional. They were talking about cheating on their boyfriends and getting in fist fights with people. No one knew how to correctly do her x-rays on her mouth And after several different girls tried , the Dentist finally had to do it. My daughter’s mouth is so sore now because of the lack of education and knowledge these girls had in performing a simple procedure like an x-ray.

August S The lady at the first desk isnt at all pleasant. I called to let them know we were going to be a few minutes late and was hung up on. My information is still incorrect. I asked her if she can change it, and she never even look in my direction when she was talking to me. Said it goes to corporate she couldnt change it. But, its been 6 months since my last visit and the last time I informed her about it. The staff in the back were very nice.

ashley smith The worse I asked one of the clerks about a 99$ special they had for braces I was told I had to pay a 200$ deposit so today my son went for an adjustment I spoke to a lady name ohanna at the gentilly location asked her could she apply my 100$ credit to my bill she told me she didn’t know if she could do it.then after that she gave my son a card stating that he couldn’t come back until june20,2025. Very unprofessional place!!then I tried reaching her by phone I was told there busy I mean she didn’t even try to reach out to me at all the special been running since march . This place is awful ghetto ignorant unprofessional I regret going the worst decision I made please don’t ever go here

The office is very clean, everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming and Dr. Katz has the most gentle hands ever! She makes sure you’re comfortable the entire procedure and frequently asks “you still doing ok?”, which is much appreciated! Most people don’t love being at the dentist but dare I say….I actually love it here! Smile Uptown is the real deal! Dr Katz, Megan & Stacey take care of my entire family and we always have the best experiences when we come!

I brought her along with me to my appointment at Smile Uptown when she was a year old and they were so welcoming and engaged with her, it was an easy decision to bring her back for her own appointment with the team there. Over the years, they have been so patient and gentle with her, always putting her at ease and making it a fun experience. She truly looks forward to her visits. I love having one family dentist for us both, that she can grow with, and we won’t have to worry about building a new relationship whenever she would have outgrown a kids-only dentist. Dr. Katz and the team are fabulous; cannot recommend enough!

Nathalie Cadet I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Dr. Kristoffer Norbo (Dr. Kris) at Nola Pediatric Dentistry. I brought my daughter (9 years old) in on January 28, 2025, for a procedure and was told to return the very next day, January 29, without any consideration for our family’s schedule. My husband advised me to cancel due to work commitments, which I did. We rescheduled for February 5, 2025, arriving at Children Hospital at 9:30 AM. We waited until 12:30 PM, and my daughter never even saw a doctor. This is unacceptable, especially since she had not eaten since 7:00 PM the night before. Instead of taking responsibility for this poor service, I received a dismissive letter blaming us for "ongoing challenges" and "disrespectful behaviors." It feels like the office lacks accountability and concern for their patients’ well-being. My experience at Dr. Kristoffer Norbo’s office was very disappointing. His staff was unprofessional and seemed indifferent to their patients. My daughter went without food from 7:00 PM on February 4 until 1:00 PM on February 5, waiting for an appointment that never happened. Rather than owning up to their mistakes, they sent a long letter blaming us for the issues. I will not recommend this NOLA PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY office to anyone.

Cara Zajac This place is really great. I go normally twice a year for my regular cleaning but recently developed a cavity. I get really anxious about dental stuff so low key was very nervous about getting a filling. It was easy to make an appointment by phone and the staff handled my insurance without any effort from me. Dr. DuBois and the staff were accommodating and encouraging when I mentioned I was nervous. The actual filling was a breeze. No pain and they talked me through what was going to happen before the procedure. I really appreciate the care and energy that takes. Would absolutely recommend this place even if going to the dentist is something that causes you anxiety. Also the decor is lit. Theres a nutria painting in the front waiting room and the place is very colorful. My friend calls it my "vaporwave dentist" lol

When I moved to the area six years ago, I didn’t have any idea how to choose a dentist, so I just searched online for the one with the highest ratings, and landed on Dental Arts of New Orleans. I was very pleased to find that all of the great reviews were well deserved. Every member of the staff is extremely friendly and very caring. Everyone there makes you feel very much at ease, whether it’s a routine check up or something more extensive. I recently had some rather extensive work done on my front teeth, and Dr. Richard made everything very clear and was very reassuring throughout. I must say, I really appreciate the meticulous attention to detail that Dr. Richard put into everything, my teeth feel great, and look great, and I couldn’t be happier with the final result.

Lisa deWaardt So it had been yearrrrrs since I had been to a dentist, and when I reached out to them, Del was so sweet and not judgmental at all. The whole office is great at explaining what they are doing, why they are doing it, even down to confirming the procedures fit my budget. I loved them so much for dental care, I even met with the orthodontist and got clear liners to help with my long term issues. That process has been super easy, and has worked wonders. The whole staff is kind, welcoming, and wonderful. 10/10 highly recommend.

kirra core This place is amazing, i have many problems with my teeth then some extra on the side and they handled them perfectly, they knew what to say and do to make me more comfortable. im scared on needles so they told me to close my eyes and pre numbed the spots with a gel so i wouldnt feel it, when i started freaking out they calmed me down and held my hand which was amazing and i am thankful for that. i was there for 5 hours to fix my teeth and now that im home and have brushed my teeth they look so good!!!! Thank yall for having the time and patience for me.

Olivia Leigh It all started when I booked my appointment for 10am. Proceeded to get confirmation messages for 10:30 and was like whatever maybe they put it in wrong. Texted back to confirm then said my appointment was 12. Called the office they told me my appointment was at 11. Very disorganized and frustrating since I had another appointment later. When I arrived I waited over and hour and half, decided to walk out so I could make my other appointment. No one told me they were behind. Will be going somewhere else especially after reading other reviews.

Sam Ray Sigh. I really wanted to support a local business, but dang, these folks were just terrible. Theres a bunch of chairs with dividers between them and the dentist is so mean that its unreal. I would only recommend someone to go to this nightmarish pit if they were my worst enemy
