On the first occasion it was a simple item and it was done while I stood there and they didnt charge me a cent. Because of their attention and generous service, I returned for a more xomplicated repair and was not disappointed. Excellent jewelry repair.

If you are looking for an excellent price on a stone, recrafting an old piece, or simply shopping for that special piece for that special someone, you owe it to yourself to drop in this small, family-oriented jewelry store. They have a gemologist on staff, and can make fair appraisals on almost any jewelry you can bring in.

Toliver Terica: I’m writing to share feedback regarding an unusual experience at your the Perkins Rowe location 5/18/25 around 3:30 to 4:00 PM. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted by the sales associate near the entrance. The associate, an older woman compared to the other representatives, stared at me blankly when I explained that I was looking for a replacement necklace similar to the one I was wearing. Even after I pointed to her necklace and asked if something similar was available, she only eventually mentioned that her necklace was from the fine jewelry section and was purchased at a large discount. I had to explicitly ask her to show me the fine jewelry section, after which she led me there but left without offering any further assistance or guidance. The interaction felt very odd and unwelcoming. I wanted to bring this to your attention so that it can be addressed, as it did not reflect the welcoming and attentive service I expect from Kendra Scott. However, now that I see the most recent reviews you’ve already been informed of this behavior. Your store reps have a serious problem and no one should shop here anymore.

Allana Herring: I have been to Jack Hood Jewelers several times. I’ve been mainly for services like ring resizing etc. I dropped off a solid 14k gold pendant on Wednesday to add a bail. The sales representative was polite and nice. I asked for a sleek bail that was not bulky. I showed her an example of one that was in the shop. She gave me a ticket. She called yesterday to state the pendant was ready to be picked up. It was $243 total to add a bail to the pendant… I was so shocked I had no words. I paid it because I wanted my pendant. I was never told about the price upfront. And when I asked why it’s so much, the new owner or daughter of the shop owner states they had to laser the bail on and the price of gold sky rocketed…. Yeah. Never again.
