1 /5 J Brooks: I ordered cracklin through DoorDash. It was overcooked and hard—like it has been for the past month. I am tired of paying for food that is only good some days, so I called the restaurant. I asked them if I could get it remade, and they said yes if I brought it back. They then gave me a different bag from the same very bad batch—exactly as dried out and overcooked as the first one. I was confused, because they had told me they would remake my order. When I told the worker at the window, they said to get refund from DoorDash. I told them I would just prefer my order like they agreed. The manager came and said her general manager Shona didn’t want them to. She said they already “threw away $40 of product” and that was “a lot of money”. They had only taken on bag from me, and I was the one wasting valuable time and gas returning bad food. I told her I only came back because they said they would remake it. The manager said, “That’s how he’s cooking them today.” I thanked her, and I gave her the bag of cracklin back without getting a refund.
