4 /5 Gregory Blanton: The location and setting of Latil’s Landing speaks for itself: inside a historic planation house on spectacular grounds. The cuisine itself is fantastic: everything tasted great, the presentations were lovely, and everything was perfectly cooked. Plus, the portion sizes were an appropriate size for a tasting menu. We had a really great meal. The service was perfectly competent, but if you’re spending $125 per person for a multicourse tasting menu (which becomes $175 per person with the wine pairing, which we took and enjoyed) you expect a level of refinement in the service that matches the price tag and the refinement in the meal and the setting—not merely "competent." That said, we had a great meal and a wonderful evening, and will definitely return.
