4 /5 Aimee: Had a variety of oysters, the Leidenheimer loaf, the smoked trout dip, blue corn and crab bisque, and the pork schnitzel. All of the food was good, but I felt the value was all over the board. The oysters were fairly priced, as was the trout dip which was a generous portion.
Service was adequate. I expect more attention to detail when dining in this type of restaurant. When we run out of accoutrements before the dish has been finished, we should be offered more. I do not mind team service, however, I think too much was overlooked because of it.
The ambience is loud. Unfortunately, we were seated near the kitchen, and when its a full house, its challenging to hear each other.
