Judy Parks I am a cancer patient. I went through 15 rounds of chemo and the staff at Concord knew that. After finishing chemo I had an unexpected infusion based on an issue I was having. I called Concord the early that morning to let them know I was not up to the dental work scheduled for that day. They were anything but understanding or accommodating. They billed me $100 for no service. I guess the person who said they are not so good for the elderly is right. My bills for the service they provided was paid at the time of service.

JC This was a truly a great experience! The staff and dentist were absolutely phenomenal with my 3-year-old daughter, and they made our 1-hour drive incredibly worthwhile. I love how they see children and adults , great place that can see the entire family. So grateful to have discovered this office & looking forward to our next cleaning.

Tracy goetzl I haven’t been to dentist since 2021. I finally went back to Louisiana Dental and I forgot how great Lexi S is such an amazing Hygienist. She is the best Hygienist I have ever had. If a person is nervous she will make you feel comfortable and if your teeth are sensitive Lexi S will be very careful with that. Her personality and her professionalism is amazing. Ask for Lexi S she is the best.

Cole Lambert Almost afraid to leave this review because Ive been waiting on an emergency root canal from this location for over a week. The ball keeps getting dropped by the administrative staff here, over and over. At this point it is almost comical, however Im currently in a plethora of pain with no end in site. Now Im about to spend a Christmas holiday without the ability to chew my food, and in pain. The dentists and hygienists here are great, however the front desk staff never seem to know what is going on and have stopped the ball on me now over four times. Completely over this place. Would definitely stay away.

Flávia Cruz It’s extremely terrible this place, I could be hours talking here about all the bad things happened to me there, in resume, you go out of there with more problems that you arrived… just a few people care, but the majority just going to use you, and make you feel like a guinea pig! I’m very disappointed with the all the students that supposed to “help me”, with the billing methods, also with the professor. It’s really better paid more in another place, at least your problem will be really takes care off. I don’t have words to said how disappointed I’m with this institution.

Beauty life w maly . One Star is too good for them, if I could rate the customer service it would be a -0. Who ever was working on Friday , march 7 , 2025 (front desk / female morning shift !!) ! . Was RUDE & helped me with NOTHING. I recently went to the emergency room and was referred to come to this place by document. I explained to the lady , I’m having really bad tooth problems that I can’t even talk or eat and the pain is unbelievable and she told me that I couldn’t get seen until April , mind you we are in march . then she told me that who ever referred me to them and I quote “ didn’t know what they was talking about “ she said there’s nothing she can do for me .. mind you I can keep going on how terrible this conversation went . overall TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE would not recommend..

Duchess True Shelley, Dr Charvets dental hygienist, is very thorough and gentle. The practice is lucky to have her. Dr Charvet, himself, is very skilled. His work is excellent. He manages not to cause pain. He is honest; he wont do anything unnecessary. The crowns I have from Dr Charvet are perfect. I dont feel them; I just chew my food. Excellent.

I have attended many retreats here led by Jesuit priests. It’s so spiritually rejuvenating! With the occasional exception of noises from a train or tugboat engines on the nearby Mississippi River, Manresa is incredibly quiet and enriching for your soul.

Kristen Gouaux Crescent Dental is so wonderful with children! The receptionist is so friendly and helpful. Their dental hygienist is so good with young children. We started bringing my daughter at 2 years old and they made her feel so comfortable and secure. They give us great advice and tips to continue the pleasant experience at the dentist office. I also found they are good about not being too pushy if she is reluctant to anything they try to do. We have seen 2 of the dentists in office now, and both were very patient and kind when checking our daughter. It is a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it!

Kayla Zeringue Today was my first time at Lasting Smiles Dentistry in Lutcher, Louisiana. Dental Hygienist, Trish Ory, performed what feels like a miracle on my teeth. My gums were so inflamed, hurting, bleeding profusely, and appeared to be nearly purple. They looked as though they were detaching from my teeth. Only a few hours after Trish’s cleaning, my gums turned pink and were sitting nicely against my teeth as they should be. I’m in shock because I was beginning to think I’d never see my healthy gums again. But mostly, I’m grateful. I am so thankful for what Lasting Smiles has done for me, and I’m excited for my second session in September. Dr. Vu and his team are super helpful, very knowledgeable, friendly, and simply great at what they do. I’m not the type of person to write reviews, but this experience was just too great not to share.

Crissy Colin ONe I have always been afraid of going to the dentist. I had a very bad toothache and could not take the excruciating pain any longer. I called Dr. Jolivettes office and received an appointment the next morning. I am so happy I found her. Her staff was super friendly and caring. When I told her about me always being afraid of the dentist, pain, and needles, she quickly put my mind at ease and explained the whole procedure. She was very gentle, patient, and kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. She talked to me about different things to keep my mind focused on something else other than the needle. I would recommend her to anyone. She even walked me out to the waiting area. I will be returning. Thank you for a pleasant experience and helping to finally relieve this pain I was having for so long.

Richard H. I had a veneer done by another dentist on #9 and one day I randomly told a colleague I wasn’t happy with the work. I sent Dr. Jolivette pics of the previous work and she assured me that she could do better. Sure enough she was true to her words. I ended up getting veneers of 8&9 and they look so much better. They have a sheen that matches my teeth, they are not as bulky as my previous veneer and they also felt so great compared to the previous veneer. The whole experience took two visits and her staff of Isabella and Jada were also great. Dr. Jolivette is a brilliant, caring, thorough and talented dentist. Highly recommend.

Sally Morgan This was the most thorough dental examination I have ever had. Dr. Engel took x-rays, checked every tooth, did a cancer screening and did so much more than any dentist I have ever been to. Her office is in a beautiful old house in downtown Covington, La. Her office staff, like her, was personable, efficient and made you feel very welcome. It felt like I was visiting a close friend at her house for lunch, not like a doctor visit. This is definitely a dentist to see to keep your smile pretty. Or, if you are having problems, this is also the place to come. Dr. Engel is excellent.

Kim Brasseaux Where do I start. I have always had trouble with Dentist visits. For some reason getting numb enough to be comfortable is the problem. All the other Dentists I’ve visited in the past did not believe me about this and I always felt pain with whichever procedure they preformed. Dr. Dayton Prudhomme on the other hand did believe me. For the first time in my life I felt no pain. No pain at all to pull a large tooth. He explain in detail before doing everything that was happening. Jeff Fink While under a time crunch, Mike designed my new dental office quickly and efficiently, even after having to change locations and completely restart the floor plan. He is easy to contact and certainly understands the patient flow in a dental office. Many of his recommendations, that I would have never come up with, are being added into the new office design. Esperanza I’m from out of town so when an issue with my tooth came up I started to panic. They were able to squeeze me in same day for an exam. The whole staff is so nice and very comforting. Kenneth Woodfin I am disappointed to see these reviews. Several years ago I was in town visiting, had a toothache, saw the large sign and stopped in to inquire. The team there could not take me immediately, but was kind and gave me a prompt appointment. I returned for my appointment, received great service at a great cash price. When I return to town I would NOT think twice about utilizing these services of this office. P.S. In full disclosure I ran across this listing by searching them up for a return visit. I was immensely happy with my experience!

T Hoa Pham AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ANY COSTS! I wish I could rate Barre Dental Care with zero star, but there was so such option available. After returning from my deployment overseas I went to this office for a Preventive Teeth Cleaning and I was covered by TRICARE as an active military personnel. Six (06) months later I received a bill in the amount of $175.00 from this office with a verbal threat when I called to clarify that 25% of the balance will be collected if I do not pay on time. There was no support in helping a patient how make payments in the best way. I wonder who would come back to this office with such service and attitude that are so unprofessional! 1. I had a small lesion. Instead of checking with TRICAREs coverage first, they proceed ahead with a treatment saying that any treatment that is $200 or less needs no approval. I contacted TRICARE and found out that any treatment that is not preventive needs request from provider for approval. Thats the reason why a claim for $175.00 for the treatment was rejected. FUNNY PART: The treatment did nothing to my lesion, it was healed by Listerine which I gargled a few times a day after seeing no result. 2. Barre Dental Care sent me a bill 06 months later after the treatment. With this, I could not make any appeal to TRICARE since the window for appeal request is 90 days of receipt of notice of denial. Barre Dental Care failed to notice me sooner regarding the denial from TRICARE. 3. The service is extremely poor. i) I found out that I had an infection later by seeing a different Dentist. Dr. Barre could not see it from the X-rays at his office not so long earlier. ii) Manager at the front desk (Ms. J) will yell at you when you try to make your point. If you want to experience the Auschwitz environment or a virtual living in North Korea, come to Barre Dental Care. AVOID BARRE DENTAL CARE LIKE YOU AVOID A PLAGUE !!!

Krys Kunath DO NOT GO HERE. Went in to have a cracked, half gone tooth finally removed. I wish Id gone to an oral surgeon, as the doctor I saw cranked and yanked on my jaw so hard I had to hold my own chin up with my hands to keep him from tearing my jaw ligaments. I asked about pain meds and was told he "doesnt believe in them" and told me to take ibuprofen. As soon as the meds wore off, agony. Im glad the tooth is gone, but I couldnt open my mouth properly for over a month. I had to manually open my mouth to eat for weeks, and had to also manually stretch my ligaments back out for the pain to stop. It looked like I had a stroke, for over a month. Id had 4 wisdom teeth removed here before by the female dentist and she was great. If you go and the guy dentist comes in your room, get up and leave.
