5 /5 Bee Busy: WOW! We stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling through from TX to New Orleans. I was very surprised that this restaurant is within a historical site with a museum and a gorgeous gift shop. The walk to the restaurant is breathtaking with ponds, fountains, and a 600 year old oak tree that is gorgeous! The service was outstanding, and so was the food! We had the short rib, the chicken, and a Ceasar salad and Houmas salad. All were delicious, and the sauces and sides were on point. The chicken was so tender that Im pretty sure it was sous vide before it was finished, truly moist and delicious. Honestly, this is a SPECIAL place. They welcomed us in even though we were not in fine clothing. Lauren, our server, was very sweet. We also met the owner and his awesome dog. This is a MUST TRY! Its worth a destination dinner or to spend the day. It is a perfect place... I was blown away!
