3 /5 GG: Service was great and the restaurant was clean and nice to sit in. We had the all you can eat catfish and unfortunately both the blackened and grilled catfish tasted similar and were extremely salty. The fried catfish was fine but not very seasoned. The onion rings were okay. Wouldnt go back again but it got the job done.

5 /5 NickGoesFar: Had a great plate of crawfish, shrimp, and royal reds. Table shared some chargrilled oysters. Service was great, restaurant was clean, beer was cold. Would love to have a spicy option though. All in, very enjoyable.

5 /5 Piotr Lesniewicz: The Shack in Houma never disappoints! The snow crab legs were fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked — and dipping them in the warm butter made it even better. Chill local spot with fast service and great seafood. Definitely a go-to when you’re craving crabs!
