1 /5 Alexis Sinclair: This shop is the epitome of poor customer service. When you pay for a service, there are expectations that are set and my expectations of getting my nails done and having them last anywhere from 2-4 weeks as they have every other time Ive gotten them done was a far cry from what I received.
I got my nails done on Friday and paid $40 for the application of SNS (solar nails). By Fri night, 1 nail had chipped, and 3 others had cracked (like glass does). I returned to the shop on Sat to have the nails repaired. The female owner began the process, attempting to "repair" the chipped nail and buffed out the others trying to convince me that it was only the glossy coat that cracked. By Sat night the same nail she "repaired" had chipped again and by sunday morning I had 3 nails with cracks. You may ask what in the world was I doing with my hands? Well my left index cracked when I scratched my scalp. My right thumb chipped when I tried to clean underneath the nail from eating. And who knows how the other 2 cracked. Not once did I knock it against something hard.
I didnt have the time to return to the store until today, Wed and when I did I asked to speak to the manager. The same woman who "repaired" my nails came to me and long story short told me they do this all the time and everyones nails are different. I expresses to her Ive been getting SNS for 5 years and never had this happen. Never has my set lasted 3 days, and thats being generous. Then the male owner chose to chime in and say a whole bunch of stuff that I couldnt understand because he refused to pull down his face mask so I just dismissed whatever he was saying. I told them I dont want it done over because theyve done them twice already and if theyre using the same product, same technique and same person applying it, why would I expect a different outcome. I wanted a refund. They refused to give me a refund. Then the man finally lowered his mask and told me to go to another salon and let them do it.
I dont generally write bad reviews. I usually like to praise people for the good services and give credit where its due because theres already so much negativity out here, but this salon here... they deserve every line of this review. Both managers/owners have nasty attitudes and poor customer service skills. So if I can save just 1 person from going here and having to experience this then I will take that as the positive out if this entire experience.
