1 /5 Hner Zibari: My wife went to get her nails done yesterday and had a horrible experience. The front desk lady (the same person well get to later) gave her weird looks as soon as she walked in and was very unfriendly. My wife wanted almond-shaped nails but her nail tech gave her square-cut nails instead saying her nails were too short for almond. They were very long but looks like the nail tech wanted to do square since theyre much easier to do and require less effort. The same front desk lady said something to her in their language speaking about my wife. Her nail tech cut her nails too short and didnt do the best job. She also cut her on three fingers and instead of apologizing told my wife "Youre too tense, thats why I cut you, you need to relax your hand". My wife also had a gift card to redeem that was issued 4 years ago. Three days prior to her appointment, my wife went into the nail salon to make sure she could use her gift card for Monday to make sure there wouldnt be any issues. The male employee and a young female employee were really nice and told her its not a problem at all, gift cards dont expire. So when my wife went to check out the same unfriendly front desk lady tried to cause her issues and repeatedly said "You cant use that its old its too old" and was rude. My wife explained to her that she came in days ago and the male colleague sitting over there told her it wouldnt be a problem. The lady kept repeating herself regardless. My wife was disappointed because all of the employees in the store were making jokes and laughing at her. No one stepped in to tell their rude coworker to stop. They kept saying "Oh shes young" as if to say my wife was giving attitude. Even the male employee she saw days ago didnt step in. In the end, my wife stood up for herself and used her gift card. She told them she would never be coming back. Not only did they do an awful job, but no one stepped in to tell their co-worker to not treat their customer like that. They gossip about their customers the whole time. Its such an uncomfortable environment to be in. The total service cost $70 ($35 manicure + $35 pedicure). My wife said this is the worst French manicure shes ever gotten. Unless youre a regular customer, you wont get decent service here or be treated in a friendly way.
