  • Guys Foreign & Domestic Auto - Metairie
Sara Bynum: I had a great experience at Guy’s. Called and spoke to Kirk about an oil change and head light bulb replacement for my Mercedes S550. The quote was fair and did not change when I went in for service. Everyone was nice and they called throughout to let me know what was going on with the car and if I would like to proceed. I would recommend Guy’s Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair for anyone looking for a reasonable price and friendly customer service.
In & Out Auto Repair llc - New Orleans
Brandon Hawkins: Al is the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. Not only is he fair but he’s honest and a good person. I went to him in dire need and he took care of me right away. When he discovered another problem, he alerted me immediately. He wouldn’t let me drive off until everything was right. I’m so glad I found his shop. I won’t go anywhere else and I have told friends and family members about his shop.
Auto Care Service of Metairie - Metairie
Patsy Lacoste: Marty @ Auto Care is an AWESOME mechanic!!! Very honest & reasonable in pricing. He’s my new mechanic for both my cars.
Marks Midcity Services Station - New Orleans
Sydney Schlappich: Took my car to this shop to replace the compressor in my 2018 Chevy Equinox. They quoted me $1800 which is standard for a full AC repair. They called me the day of and said they didn’t need to replace the compressor, just the relay and it would only cost me $800. Three weeks after they replaced the relay the AC stopped working. I took it back to them and they said that the compressor blew up and that can happen when replacing the relay vs doing the whole job but they failed to mention that when they fixed it. Had I known that I would have told them to replace the compressor. They refused to work with me on the price and wanted another $1800 to do the job correctly. Long story short, don’t take your car here. These people are not professional and will scam you any way they can.
NOLA Mobile Mechanics - New Orleans
Jonathan Young: When I called,i thought it was one problem with my vehicle but NOLA Mobile found out it was something else after they did further troubleshooting. They immediately fix the issue. Thanks for responding do quic
    Lakeview Automotive - New Orleans
kim ward: Mr Melvin is so kind and takes care of his customers! He insisted on going above and beyond what I asked for because he knew I was about to be on the road. 100% recommend this business! Honest, thorough, personable and does a great job with the car!
Park Place Tire & Auto - New Orleans
Wil Glaser: I went to Donald for an oil change and to take a look at my suspension, on a recommendation from Reddit. He is clearly about doing things right and goes the extra mile to explain/show you what that is, and his prices were reasonable. I was able to drop my car off with him, walk up to Magazine for a late lunch and a little window shopping, and walk back. Though the oil change was finished when I arrived (I think he had forgotten to call me when it was, as we had briefly discussed), he still had my car up on the lift, and showed me specifically what he noticed. We discussed how to remedy it, before I paid and departed. I fully intend to come back to have my new struts installed, front end alignment done, and new tires mounted and balanced. (Update: I dropped off the car on a Monday evening and was able to pick it up first thing on Wednesday. I actually enjoy driving my car now, for the first time since I bought it.) I saw a few reviewers say hes rude; I dont think thats really the case. I will say he does sound a bit impatient on the phone, but I understand since hes flying solo and keeps quite busy. In person, he was friendly and very easy to work with. The first time I went to him, he wasnt able to do my oil change that day (late Thursday afternoon), but he suggested a few windows for me to drop by and get it done in about 90 minutes. Its my impression that if youre polite and reasonable, hell take care of you, especially if you can effectively communicate what times work for both of you.
    Rainbow Auto - New Orleans
Bridget Dubon-Pineda: Needed to get a new brake tag. Everything is inside. Which is amazing!!! Fast professional and very respectful. Didnt waste my time. Plus its a pull around. You go in along the side of the building and turn into the building. Then stop in front of the office. Then you just pull out onto the street and go on your merry way. I cant recommend this place enough. Also I think they are the only station in New Orleans where you can get a brake tag while it is raining. Due to the inspections are completely inside of a large building.
Santos Automotive Center Inc - New Orleans
Iliana: They lost our business because of their rude phone etiquette. 30 seconds call and hung up on us. Called NOLA automotive instead and they were perfectly considerate and immediately helpful, we were back on the road in two hours.
    Kehoe Automotive - New Orleans
    Kehoe Automotive
Kaleigh Booth: Update: The dealership did need to replace my O2 sensor again because apparently some aftermarket parts dont work with with the wiring in some of the newer cars (idk). Kehoe thankfully refunded me for the aftermarket part. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I brought my 2022 Subaru Forester here and they diagnosed the O2 sensor issue. I picked up the car a few days as they had swapped the sensor and my check engine light came on 2 minutes after leaving. I swung back around and they spent 30 minutes trying to fix it. The light came back on a day later and they ordered a new sensor to fix it again. They prioritized my car the 2nd time bringing it in. I picked it up the 2nd time and the check engine light came back on AGAIN, this time a day later. At this point they have looked at my car 3 different times and clearly cant figure out the solution, even though the mechanic mentioned he used to work at Subaru. Not sure what the problem is... Beside the obvious complaint of paying $500+ and not actually having my issue solved, it is also first come first serve. This process means waiting days for my car rather than having a set appointment. I never knew when it would be done. Having no scheduling system was inconvenient for someone as dependent on their car as me. Now taking my car to the Subaru dealership to find the problem... wish me luck!
