5 /5 Sally Morgan: This was the most thorough dental examination I have ever had. Dr. Engel took x-rays, checked every tooth, did a cancer screening and did so much more than any dentist I have ever been to. Her office is in a beautiful old house in downtown Covington, La. Her office staff, like her, was personable, efficient and made you feel very welcome. It felt like I was visiting a close friend at her house for lunch, not like a doctor visit. This is definitely a dentist to see to keep your smile pretty. Or, if you are having problems, this is also the place to come. Dr. Engel is excellent.

I have spent dozens of days with oral surgeons for broken teeth, implants and crowns so Im quite pain sensitive. 5 /5 Red Chip: Highly recommend. Caring, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Engel has been our family dentist for over 20 years. With nine of us she’s done it all- Cleanings, fillings, broken teeth, crowns and she even saved two of my teeth a horse knocked almost completely out. Kathleen works closely with my oral surgeon when I needed implants. The staff’s friendly and always willing to help.

I called Concord the early that morning to let them know I was not up to the dental work scheduled for that day. They were anything but understanding or accommodating. They billed me $100 for no service. I guess the person who said they are not so good for the elderly is right. My bills for the service they provided was paid at the time of service.

Heather Smith: Where to start with a review on Dr. Kathleen Engel. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Engel since I was a little girl. Third generation. I had to stop seeing Dr. Engel due to my insurance changing but as soon as I got back in network I went to see her. I felt comfortable and home. She listen to you and go out of her way to make sure every step is okay. That’s so important to me is for a provider to listen to their patient and answer their questions directly. Explain everything in details. Dr. Engel does that compare to other I have seen. I do not feel pressured or uncomfortable. Thank you again Dr. Engel for everything you do.
