Just moved to the north shore and was so worried about finding a new dentist...I had been with mine for over 30 years! But no worries here! So glad I found Dr. Engel!! Highly recommend her and her practice.

5 /5 Victoria Bracey: I absolutely love Mrs.Kathleen. I went to her for a few years, she is just amazing. She never caused any discomfort at all. I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled today and she did it so fast and painless I didnt even know she did it! Everyone in there is so nice and comforting. I have definitely told people about my experiences here and will continue to recommend her. Its a nice, clean, and friendly environment!! I am so glad that she is my dentist!

5 /5 Sally Morgan: This was the most thorough dental examination I have ever had. Dr. Engel took x-rays, checked every tooth, did a cancer screening and did so much more than any dentist I have ever been to. Her office is in a beautiful old house in downtown Covington, La. Her office staff, like her, was personable, efficient and made you feel very welcome. It felt like I was visiting a close friend at her house for lunch, not like a doctor visit. This is definitely a dentist to see to keep your smile pretty. Or, if you are having problems, this is also the place to come. Dr. Engel is excellent.

I have spent dozens of days with oral surgeons for broken teeth, implants and crowns so Im quite pain sensitive. Over the past 15 years they take care to take time get me relaxed and ready to go before they start. Highly recommend this team.

5 /5 Red Chip: Highly recommend. Caring, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Engel has been our family dentist for over 20 years. With nine of us she’s done it all- Cleanings, fillings, broken teeth, crowns and she even saved two of my teeth a horse knocked almost completely out. Kathleen works closely with my oral surgeon when I needed implants. The staff’s friendly and always willing to help.

I had to stop seeing Dr. Engel due to my insurance changing but as soon as I got back in network I went to see her. I felt comfortable and home. She listen to you and go out of her way to make sure every step is okay. That’s so important to me is for a provider to listen to their patient and answer their questions directly. Explain everything in details. Dr. Engel does that compare to other I have seen. I do not feel pressured or uncomfortable. Thank you again Dr. Engel for everything you do.

Concord Family Dental of Metairie - Metairie Amber Guillot: I had some filings replaced and a crown after some decay. I was numbed up quickly and in and out with no discomfort. For someone who is ADHD and gets anxious Tasha helped calm me. Would highly recommend Concord Family Dental. My mother, husband, and daughter all go there as well.

She listened intently, took copious x-rays of the problem tooth, performed a physical examination, and spoke in a straightforward and understandable manner, suggesting a course of action to save the tooth.
