5 /5 Noahark WV: The Baseline: For a museum, the displays must be relevant and engaging, the topics must be relevant to the theme, the facilities must be clean/up-kept, and the extras must educate on the topics. This is a museum that displays the sacrifice, bravery, and honor of the Greatest Generation. This museum blows the baseline away. Displays/Exhibits: The exhibits in the National WWII Museum really show off parts of the biggest war that the world has seen. Both fronts of the war were represented for the European/African and Pacific campaigns. Special Exhibits pointed out other areas of the world some may not have been as aware of. The education you get from this museum is extensive and vast. Facilities: All the facilities were clean and kept up to the highest of standards. The bathrooms were very clean and there was not any trash on the floors. The staff do a great job at keeping the museum looking great and also the patrons are very respectful of the property. There are several movies that play and that can be experienced for an additional fee. I did not have time to view during my visit but look forward to seeing this in the future. Staff: Great staff and there are several volunteers at the museum so it is great to see New Orleans come out for civic pride at this museum.

5 /5 Nicole Potter: GREATTTTTT PLACE! Price was perfect for the amount t of museum you get! PLEASE go early or make sure you have enough time because there is a lot to see! The restoration building was my favorite because you get to see videos from survivors and it is really touching. There is a neat chapel as well. You can leave and come back and that might be a good option so that you can see everything. The museum store also has some really neat things. The dog tag adventure did not work as it should unfortunately. Must see place if you are in the area!

5 /5 J: This place is amazing! We gave ourselves 3 hours and it was not enough time for all the things they have to see, read, and listen to. They have a very comprehensive, detailed collection, with amazing exhibits, personal interviews, and artifacts. This is the best history museum I have ever been to. I wish I would have given myself two days for this. I may go back to New Orleans just to spend more time here.

5 /5 Frank Biermann: This is likely one of the best museums you’ll ever step foot inside of. There was so much detail and thought put into the different buildings and displays that you can clearly see as you make your way through. I can’t remember how many times I stopped and said wow as we explored. You really can’t finish the entire museum in one day. We spent 4 hours inside but wish we had more time on our trip to check out all the sections without rushing.

5 /5 J M: If you are a history buff, this place is a must see. The overall museum grounds are HUGE. Theres a bunch of great exhibits and it is easy to get from exhibit to exhibit. They have an excellent airplane and gun collection throughout the buildings. Theres also just great artifacts of all kinds. They have a few gift shops and a couple places on site to eat with good service and menus. Dont know what else to say, if you like World War II museums, put this on your bucket list.
