Anaan Iymüs My nails were filed crooked and I had to ask the tech to fix them multiple times. The paint is a bit lumpy and you can see the edges are sloppy. Also I asked for round and these are clearly almond shaped. Ive been here once before and the quality was the same. For 40 dollars I dont think Ill be coming here again.

Shawayolanda Hartley Ive been going to Vive Nail shop for years. When my daughters come into town, we all get a manicure and pedicure there. They have the best prices at this location. A pedicure is only $27, but you can get a pedicure and manicure for $38. Tell me where else can you find prices like that? I havent seen it anywhere so far.

muhriyahhh I’ve been coming to this salon for a little over a year. I’ve never had the experience as I’ve had today. The nail tech Thi wanted to give me what she wanted to give me on my nails instead of what I was asking AND paying for. She then got an attitude because I asked her several times to get the color that I was requesting. I will no longer return or refer anybody to this nail salon. They also do not have any AC.

Kennedy Moore Detail oriented is an understatement! They took such good care of me and made sure to check several times if what they were doing was what I liked. The inspiration picture I used looked exactly like how my nails came out (shorter length by request) and I had fantastic service along the way. I’d definitely recommend that anyone who goes for Gel-X to request Mary! The shop was clean, updated, and beautiful and each person I worked with asked if I wanted a drink or water. I will definitely be back for my fills and love my nails!

Kayla Ortiz I went in for a Gel Manicure, my nail tech proceeded to take off my acrylic from before and ended up cutting my left thumb nail bed with the drill so deep I bleed a lot, I then noticed she had cut my other 3 nails on my left hand but it wasn’t as deep as my thumb. The nail tech ended up putting me with another nail tech. She was more caring and compassionate about what had happened. She proceeded to take off all the acrylic I had left on my nails, she filed them, I didn’t get polish because I didn’t wanna cause an infection or burn my nails. As she took me to the receptionist and explained to her what happened the receptionist still tried to charge me full price for the soak off service. She didn’t even offer a discount for the mishap. I had to ask for the discount and only gave me a $5 off discount.

kathy Sessions Kathy, or Lilly, as she is called did a fabulous job on my nails and feet and toes. She is very sweet and I want her to do my nails every time i go there.

Jevon Trice I like the atmosphere, it is a beautiful nail shop. I just didnt like the attention my feet got, when I was getting a pedicure. I felt like it could have been better, I love my nails but I have lost the design and theyre not a week old yet.

Dana Rogers Always so nice and accommodating. They have been the most thorough on pedicures. Not rushing the service. Especially Mimi, I will always ask for her and wait for her if at all possible. Love getting my monthly pedicures done here!

Jae I’ve gone here a couple times and wow, this is the first salon that takes extra careful attention to my feet/toes! I get the gel pedicure with their deluxe pedicure service. I usually get rough callus on the soles of my feet from being active and this salon always make sure to thoroughly buff and exfoliate my feet and constantly go back to make sure they’ve exfoliated the callus successfully. They also nip my cuticles gently and provide a wonderful stone massage. She also offered beverages during the services and asked to make sure the temperature of the water and hot towels were okay. I truly would keep returning.

DeAnna Halley-Cody Shop is always clean, staff friendly, and you get helped coming in the door. I love its appointments only but they work with you and your schedule. Love going to LUXX. Great quality if work, as well! I won’t go anywhere else!

Trichelle Robinson Nancy did my nails and did a wonderful job. I received many compliments & they last! They have been holding strong for 3 weeks. Definitely trying to get a refill ASAP.

Tiffiany Mills I called Oakwood Nails and Spa for an appointment and was able to get a spot right away. Upon arrival, I waited about 15 minutes, which wasn’t an issue for me. During my service, I overheard them quoting another client $25 for lashes and $20 for eyebrows—the same services I was receiving. However, when I had called earlier, they told me $40, which I was fine with because I believe in paying for good service. When the technician finished my lashes, one side was noticeably crooked. With lashes, symmetry is important because any imbalance is very obvious. Again, this wasn’t a major issue since I knew how to fix them myself. At checkout, my total came to $60 for the lashes and eyebrow threading. I didn’t have service in the mall to use my card, so I decided to pay in cash. I handed the technician $60, but she kept her hand out as if expecting more. I was actually planning to tip $10 but didn’t have the right change. I started to ask if I could add the tip to my card once I got service, but before I could even finish my sentence, she abruptly started speaking in her language, handed me the receipt aggressively, and said “thanks” in a dismissive tone. Her coworker, who had been listening, just looked me up and down. Given that I recently lost my mother, my patience is thin, and her behavior was extremely rude. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

Ariel Lewis DO NOT GO HERE! How is this place still open? I asked for a gel overlay. She took out the acrylic set and was about to put acrylic on my nails. I never said anything about acrylics. She also filed my nails SO far down. My nails were at the length I wanted them at. I thought she was only shaping them up. She filed them down so much. After the gel polish was applied, she tried to file them again. I refused. She then tugged at my finger and started to file again. I legit had to put my hand in the way to stop her and move my hand back. The poorest customer service. Incompetent people. Ill never go back. She only charged $25, and honestly I wouldnt have paid a cent more. Horrible. My friend who I was with, didnt have the best experience either.

Kayla M Decided to get my nails done and Ive been here before years agoooo and they were pretty good..... thought about going here again but the first lady who was working my nails made them way too short like way too short it was like whats the point of paying for them and so I told her she said OK I thought she was gonna make them longer. She kept filing them down and then her boss or who I assume was her boss kept hovering over us while she was doing my nails and so I decided to say, can she make them longer and her boss stepped in and decided to rip off the acrylic tips and ripped off the acrylic tip on my thumb which caused my whole nail to rip and as Im trying to see what just happened the lady is pulling my hand back not letting me see what happened and then she proceeds to take a nail tool She just used another customer to try and clip my nail although I did not allow her to because that is unsanitary and disgusting pretty sure the tool was not sanitize. I just walked out

Georgia Smith WORST and LAZIEST pedicure I’ve ever gotten. She was rushing, I had to tell her to do a better job at pushing my cuticles back because she didn’t even try! Left a bunch of dead skin around my nails. She cut my cuticles on two different toes and had them stinging and BLEEDING and had a nasty attitude towards me for wanting them to take money off! There are white smears all over the edges of my toe nails from wiping the sides with her nail instead of cleaning behind it properly. Didn’t even lotion or oil them afterwards so I left with dry feet! This is the most TRIFLING I’ve seen my toes after stepping out somebody’s nail shop!!!

Brandi Barnes Needed to get my daughters nails done before school and decided to go ahead get mine done too. Service was great, staff was friendly and we both got exactly what we asked for! Update: although at previous visits we have had wonderful experiences at MLV as far as quality of their work, our more recent visits have not been as pleasant. My experience with the owner was that she was rude and was not concerned with whether customers are satisfied with the quality of work they receive or not. We will no longer be patronizing this establishment.

Isobel Healy Emma and her staff are simply the best. The salon is spacious and very clean. They are so friendly and hospitable, offering complementary cocktails and other beverages right when you walk in. They pay great attention to detail with their pedicures and manicures! Great value for a great price - MLV on Rousseau is a must!

Emma did such an amazing job. I love going to this salon the vibe is great and I love the atmosphere. Even had a wonderful cocktail while I was there. Those ladies work so hard to get you in and out. Nola Baby They always talking about people in their language. Julie used to do good nails and for years then I started seeing where she was so worried about what was on the tv and not focusing on my nails. Then her work wasn’t what it used to be. Then Amy is the owner and the way she speaks to people is rude.Then has the nerve to question me about this review today when I was calling for my mom! This call had nothing to do with me and she was rude!!! They going to lose business!

Febe Castto They always have appointments even though they do get very busy I always get gel manicure and it is always amazing and they last like 3 weeks my nails are so long right now I have to cut them but I know they will grow back in a week the place it is always clean and they do a very good services I love this place!!!

Casey Allman My first time, as a guy, getting a Mani/pedi. The two ladies that helped my girlfriend and I were very friendly and easy to talk to the entire time. They were also able to fit us in with short notice, and stayed late after closing to finish up our nail treatments. Wow! We left feeling refreshed and happy! Will definitely be returning.

Wandabossdee Andrus I have been there twice and so far I like the shop.My first time Victoria did my nails it came out great she did an excellent job. The second time another lady did my nails the design wasnt how I wanted it but the lady tried her best she did a wonderful job as well.

Queen Leo I went in on 5/27/23 and the service I requested was ombre pink and white and wax eyebrows. This is by far the worst set of nails Ive ever had. The lady asked how long g I said short but my nails look like cat claws. The ombre is not ombre and the pink looks peach. All of the nails that she put on are different sizes so not only are they long they are all different sizes. This is the worst nail shop please run away from this place

Kirk Andrew Worst manicure and full set I’ve ever had. One nail popped off not even 3 days after I got them done and when I went back to get it fixed I had to pay for it. Now another one has come off and it’s not even a week after I got them done. Also when they fixed my nail the person was so rushed that the design looks terrible.

Morrell Davi (Davi) I’ve been here 3 times and each time I’ve gotten good service. The customers are really rude though. And loud. One customer was shouting because they didn’t wipe the seat down. Which is something weird to expect. One customer asked the nail tech ‘you don’t speak English? What you speak Spanish?’ It would be nice if the shop turned rude customers away. Once I had to give two nail techs tips because the women they serviced were incredibly rude. I always want to speak up but if I have ti fight after getting my nails done, I’ll be upset. Anyways, good service. Very nice. Just refuse service to customer with bad attitudes.

Emilee Whitman This is such a great place to go to they did such a great job! I got a mani peti and eyebrow wax and it all turned out amazing can’t recommend them enough!

Greissy mavare Two days after getting my nails done they are horrible, the attention was good but the work was not, some were longer than others, square ones, I really didnt like them. I do not recommend it I asked for a gradient and it is not what I got pathetic

Michelle Marshall I had my nails done at roses nail salon 5 days ago and the gel polish started pealing off , And i need a refill already , I went back to tell the lady my polish was pealing she acted very ugly towards me , I had tip her and everything . I will never spend another dollar in this nail shop again.
