Alice Hatter We had The General for ages without any problems. Out of the blue, their underwriters have decided our vehicle is something completely different from what it actually is and canceled us. I lost count of the hours spent on the phone trying to fix this with no result. We sent them everything we could think of to help, the registration, title, photos, even documentation from Chevrolet. Nope, no joy. Its in their system as something completely different and thats that. On the upside, this led us to discover Direct Auto insurance. Direct had no such issue and was quite a bit cheaper.

MVT do not trust this company, they are not trustworthy and all theyre doing is after your money, they will make any claims as hard as possible when it comes time and try their best to not pay out

Afterwards, I never felt like I had a direct contact; various people would respond. A year later, my insurance rate more than doubled, and I was informed via a snail mail letter sent to my home, which left me very little time to find an alternative. (This was just as everyones rate was starting to up when the hikes werent as common knowledge.) The new agent I eventually found was very proactive and gave me informal assessments, emailed frequently, and went over alternatives at length.

L. M. STOP! Take it from me, DONT buy your auto insurance from GoAuto Insurance. Accident claims are not handled with understanding and the customer service is piss poor! Its been greater than a week and I have yet to hear from an adjuster - this person does not answer calls, does not return calls, does not reply to emails, nothing. Unnecessarily wasting time, meanwhile Im out of a vehicle. The only thing I know is the adjuster name is J. Joseph. The worst! Nobody cares - claims dept. Customer Service is horrible, too, and thus surpasses my understanding. Do Not purchase your policy from GoAuto, save yourself the time and money.
