Ariel Bonilla This was my first time coming to this nail salon. We got there 15 minutes before opening and there was already a line. Once the doors opened up, it went really quick, they check your temperature at the door and have you wash your hands even before signing in. They were so clean and I really enjoyed the extra touches I received in my pedicure. They refilled the hot water, 10 minute foot massage. If you have time I would recommend going here. If they have a line it is so worth the wait! I will be back for sure!

Brittney Muller Brought my daughter in on a Tuesday afternoon after school as walk-ins to get pedis and a mani for her after being unable to get into another salon that was fully booked. The receptionist was super friendly and checked us in right away, making sure to let the staff know we wanted our pedis together. There was virtually no wait. Kim was my pedicurist, and she did a phenomenal job. She was thorough but gentle. As a teacher on my feet all day, the massage was HEAVENLY and much appreciated! She did a great job on my nails. I chose a standard polish, and it looked great. My daughter was happy with her toes and nails, too. We had 3 services for right around $130ish dollars, tip included. We would come back for a special day again! :)

Stacey Roth Omg first time and super impressed! April did my dip mani and Tina did my pedi. Both were amazing and would highly recommend Essential Salon. The price was very reasonable for both of my services.

Blakk Butterfly This is the ONLY beauty supply I go to in Laplace. The rest.... Garbage. They dont help you their stores are tight dark & dirty! I use to drive all the way to Kenner or farther. But I didnt mind if it meant better customer service & clean store.

August Hyatt I used to love coming to Ben but over the years he has stopped caring about customers wants. I went in just to get my tips done in Mardi Gras colors. All I asked was for my nail to be fixed on the side where it was chipped at (he filled it down instead of putting more acrylic) and keep the white but put green and purple tips. I think this is the worst my nails have ever looked and he made me pay $25 for this crappy nail work. Will never come back and will never recommend this place.

Dina Mali Diana was a great pedicure nail tech. She was very professional , even when I said I wanted regular nail polish. She was not pushy so I appreciated that. The establishment was clean and the service was great. It is a busy location. I would suggest making an appointment.

Ele Martin Didn’t get the older ladies name who did my pedicure but it was rushed and sloppy. Nails cut and left digging in my skin. Donna did mine and my daughter’s nails and we were rushed through the entire process. Nails are super thick and obvious it was a rushed job. Won’t be returning

Madie Bee I visit this store quite often since it is near my house. Khalid is always nice and very helpful. Im not sure what the other guys name is but he has a very nasty attitude I refuse to purchase anything when he is working and plan on spreading the word. People should not have to be met with nasty attitudes where they spend their money!!!

Ni BEWARE! TRUST THE REVIEWS! It’s almost as if the person on the front counter was making up prices as he rang me up. I won’t be returning with the money I could’ve spent it on something else. That doesn’t make it right!

JollyMsMolly1 I went into this store to purchase hair for braiding. I was specifically looking for Expressions hair which they had, but the color selection was very few. I love wigs, so I decided to go to the wig section to look at some. One of the owners (a younger one) approached me asking did I need any help to which I responded no thank you. He saw my phone in my hand and said “and do not take any pictures of any of the wigs” First of all, how are you assuming or accusing me of taking pictures simply because you see my phone in my hand? Second, there was no visible sign in the area stating that I could NOT take pictures if I wanted to. Long story short, I walked out and they lost a customer that actually planned to purchase one of those wigs. Learn how to treat customers, especially your BLACK customers who are keeping you in business anyway.

Ayana Dennison I recently visited Exotic Touch Nail Lounge, and I couldnt be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my experience was exceptional. The service was top-notch; my nail technician took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered great suggestions. The attention to detail was remarkable, and I left with nails that looked absolutely stunning. If youre looking for a relaxing and enjoyable nail salon experience, I highly recommend Exotic Touch Nail Lounge. Ill definitely be returning for more pampering!

maria Villalva The staff is super nice and informative! I got a eyebrow wax and gel X nails. I had very little nail bed to work with but that was not a problem here. I have very thick brows and she was very careful in just cleaning up my brows and maintaining a shape.

Christiana Sykes I made an appointment for a Sunday (today) for me and my 5 y/o daughter. It was her first time getting a pedicure and she enjoyed it so much. This was my first time coming here and I was very impressed. I usually stick with the same nail salon I’ve been going to but I’m definitely switching. They are kind and attentive. My daughter has been talking about it since we got home.

Victoria S I decided to visit this shop about 4 months ago. And I’m happy I did. Ty does my nails and I just love his work, from day 1. He takes his time and his work comes out beautiful. I believe this will be my nail shop home. The vibe is great the shop is pretty everyone is nice. I really love going there, can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Makayla Tilley Came to this nail salon before and it was great, but today it was a major disappointment. I waited 30 minutes to not be helped, or serviced. Was not offered water or anything, or told how long it would take. Came at 11 on a Thursday, and I dont think it should taken 30 minutes of me just sitting. Walked out because it was clear I was not being helped anytime soon, and was being ignored. Do not recommend.

Ramon Rutillo Mallillin Tiffany is awesome! She perfects my gel pedi and SNS manicure, which last me 4 weeks without breaking or chipping. She also listens to my problems and gives great advice. I forget I’m in a nail salon; it feels like hanging out with a good friend. Thanks, Tiffany!

Elizabeth (3xEmonkey) I have been coming to G & T on and off for years. It is the only salon I come back to. They are open til 6:30, so I can still get in after work. I do not normally get my nails done, so each time I appreciate how patient the nail guy is with me. They are quick and clean, two traits that make me come back.

Sar Fouad This hidden nail salon is the BEST in Nola! I’ve been here for three years and tried almost every single salon you can try and thought I found a good one until I had a bad experience on that second visit and thought maybe I’d just give a new spot a chance and I AM SO HAPPY I DID! G & T will be my forever salon!!!Their prices are on point- like it makes sense for the work you’re getting to be paying these great honest prices - not the outrageous money I’ve spend on nails monthly. I was told how much each nail would cost for a design UP FRONT not like other salons who make up a number just to over charge you. Notice how 90% of salons don’t have their real prices on the wall. So they can see how to charge each customer according to what they can get away with but at G & T, they were honest and did a fantastic job! I even got gems without charging me for the stones. Also when I walked in the door, someone wasn’t yelling or shouting WHAT ARE YOU GETTING TODAY in front of other customers. I never realized until coming to this salon how useless it is to ask and then when it’s finally my turn, they ask you AGAIN second time because they’re busy and can’t keep up, it’s redundant. But not at G & T, I was greeted only and was seated quietly like a pro! I LOVED it! Also gotta mention their chairs are sooo comfy! I’m not picky but I pay attention to the environment of every salon, since I fish out hella money on my nails monthly. I really hope this encourages others to get serious about their nail salons and give themselves a chance at this salon. I was really hesitant writing this because I know it could encourage others to go and lead them to be more busy when I go but hey, I really think the world of this husband and wife duo who seem so humble and work so well. Best of all, you don’t hear them talking in their language about you like in EVERY salon I’ve tried in this city and every city around the country, smh! Go give them a try for real!

Stacy K. I had a great experience at Tire Express. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted immediately, which made me feel welcomed. The service was incredibly fast, and the employees took the time to check my other tires to make sure they were safe—something I really appreciated. Their prices were very affordable, and the staff was friendly and professional. Plus, the location is super convenient. I’ll definitely be coming back here for any future tire needs. Highly recommend!

Yolanda Wynn This is the fastest, friendliest service I’ve had in a long time. I was treated like a human being and not just some lady….lol. As I was leaving, one of the guys noticed a nail in my back tire! They checked it out for me before I left and I’m most grateful! I won’t be going anywhere else…….recommend, recommend, recommend!!!! Tim Coffey Fast yes, but they left all of the old wheel weights on and just added more weights which is a hazzard if all those extra weights start coming off. I had to go to another shop and have them remove the 7-10oz of weight per tire and rebalance them. After being properly balanced there was less than 2oz per tire. First and last time going there thats not safe or professional.

Joanna 5 Stars - A Wonderful Experience at LD Nail Salon! I can’t say enough good things about LD Nail Salon! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The staff was incredibly sweet and friendly, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter, who has some social struggles. They were so patient and thoughtful, making sure she felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. The salon itself is spotless, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere that made our visit even more enjoyable. The decor is beautiful and adds to the peaceful vibe. Plus, the pricing was very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise given the level of service we received. We left feeling pampered and happy, and we will absolutely be back. Andrea Revelo The customer service of this salon was super nice but the service itself I was so disappointed. The owner cut the cuticle of 5 of my fingers and she was so harsh with my nails with the nail drill. She over did it with the nail drill on my natural nail bed and probably damaged it. When she painted my nails she put so much top coat that left them so bubble like and it’s been like 2 hours and they already chipped and cracked.

Laura Lloyf The tech was very rough, didnt say one word to me but carried on the whole time talking to a friend that came in. Thats fine I dont mind that, but she was so occupied by the conversation that she messed my nails up. They ate suppose to be coffin, she filed the tips so much that they slant down, not even shaped into coffin. The worst nails I have ever had done, save your time and money and go elsewhere. Wouldnt even leave the one stat

Souljah Sunny First time at Unique Nails Spa, I came there because my favorite nail tech Cindy told me she was at a new spot. Loved the ambience of the place and got an amazing pedicure by Hanna! As always Cindy did an amazing job on my nail set, I felt very comfortable although this was a new nail salon. Will be returning! Cindy is the best!

sayge dragon Love love love this nail salon! Jackie is who does my nails and she does fantastic! She takes her time and shapes your nails exactly how you like them to be! The picture here does not do justice! I got funny bunny + bubble bath and i did ombré CATEYE on my tips…. I just discovered cateye last appointment and yall need to try it if yall haven’t! It is one of the most coolest “design” you could ever get and there is so many other colors as well! Jackie has done many designs on my nails and has done amazing!! Highly recommend. ( I am going to add more pictures of the awesome work Jackie has done!)

Tanya Juneau Melissas was everything I needed from a salon on a short notice. I wasnt having any luck finding a salon in Laplace so I tried Reserve. This place is clean, friendly and reasonable priced. Cyndi did a wonderful job on my hair. I have a "do" now. I waked out looking feeling like a million bucks. I will definitely be back for upkeep and a pedicure

shandrell felo I went a few months ago, I had two nails that were chipped and needed them soaked off! I communicated that and tell me why a female worker used a fresh nail tip and tried to pry them off??? I was so shocked that I watched her for a bit. I ended up getting them soaked off after stopping her. A male worker asked me if I wanted a design I told him no because their prices are ridiculous. He kept insisting I get a design, I ended up getting one and it was basic nail art from the early 2000’s.. they charged me 5 dollars for the design and 6 dollars to soak off both nails!!!!! When was it ever that much to soak off a nail? Around the end off the session a older lady with mobility issues came in asking about the prices of a pedicure, they all looked at her in silence, one finally got up and gave her the price sheet and sat back down. These people are rude!!! Please spend your money somewhere else.

MelissasLife Channel This is the 3rd time I gave them a chance. Never had a good experience there. I never usually write reviews but this time people need to know. This place is outrageous on prices. She didn’t really shape my nails. No manicure just put the gel polish on. She put two coats on. She was about to put top coat and I said oh no I can still see spots on my nails. You need to put another coat. So she did and then put top coat on. I think a 10 year old could have did a better job. Then when I went to pay I seen a change for 10.00 extra. So my total for just gel polish was 35.00 with no manicure. Never again my chair was dirty the towel that was on the nail table was dirty.

Jay Washington In an unfamiliar place! If youve read any of my reviews or seen my check-in, then you know I stick to one particular place. I recently moved out here, so I without going to the city. I needed a nail salon close. And not only were they 5mins away. Theyre open on Sunday. It was a little busy but it was well worth the wait. I had a wonderful lady name Lee who did my nails. And when o tell you she exceeded my expectations. From the shaping to the length to the color! Everything was wonderful. Not sure of the ladys name who did my boyfriends and my pedicures, but they were just as good and had wonderful personalities. Im unsure if she was the owner, but another lady was so kind and sweet. I had some problems before getting there; she made this experience wonderful for me. I also say to be kind to people because you never know what theyre going through. And they made my rainbow on a cloudy day. Will definitely be my new favorite nail salon. Oh and if youre wondering about the price. Well, lets just say you wont need to give blood after paying your bill.

Cyn Sational If I could give a zero I would Im a licensed nail tech who just moved to LaPlace so didnt have anything set up to do nails so my daughter also a nail tech, granddaughter (who is 21 ) & myself decided to try our luck well first as we sat to have a pedi while my granddaughter has her nails done the woman starts the water & it was scalding hot I asked for it to be cooled down she didnt move so I turned it down on mine & my daughters,they looked at me as if I were crazy I asked no one did it so I did myself, next I had to tell her there was skin floating in my daughters water she was going to scoop it out I said oh no refresh the water plz !!! As were getting our pedi my daughter and I both see 3 of the ladys using a Credo blade on customers , these blades are illegal they have been outlawed in many states and are illegal in the state of Louisiana, I told the woman doing ours do not use the blades on our feet her respnse" oh its good" its good " I said no its not good !!!! We finish but the entire time the 2 ladies providing our services & 1 doing another client are talking and I can tell they are talking about us I really dont care, I walked to the front to go to my car for a moment when my granddaughter came over showed me her nails saying theyre were spots with no acrylic I told them so a guy fixed them instead of the lady that originally started them, when I came back I walked back to the pedi area where they were finishing my daughterpolish & my granddaughter walked over asked to have a pedi done well the ladies didnt know we were together and the 1 that was doing a Mani starts pointing at me laughing telling the other ladies something all behind my back rolling her eyes talking in Vietnamese, my granddaughter asked if there was a problem the girl looked confused I turn around and my granddaughter started explaining what she witnessed them doing the girl not realizing she was with me ,she asked the girl what the problem was why she did what she did the girl got scared ran to the back my granddaughter was furious, that was so very unprofessional ,shows no customer concern they blatantly use illegal tools and dont care, my granddaughter & myself both have a rash on our feet since then Ive treated it but that shows me something was dirty, Ive got 40 years experience as a professional nail tech and salon owner in N.O Eat until Katrina then in Metairie after I had a wonderful clientele & career because I was apro I cared about my clients, I did high quality work used the best products on the market, followed sanitation proticals set forth by State board, these places use none of these they dont care, sad that people unknowingly pay theyre hard earned money to have this kind of services done I will never patronize them again I would have loved to have found somewhere to go when I dont have time to do my own but this was the last time they will get my money oh by the way they cleaned the spa using the dirty water I had soaked my feet in just an FYI !!!! Plz do not patronize this shop you are putting your hand and foot health in the hands of people who could care less !!!!!!

Allison Jenkins I’ve been coming here for about a year now and am very disappointed. The polish is always sloppy. Color on my toes was a different color than my nails. They redid the polish on my toes, but that waisted more of my time, but at least it matched now. The lady that did pedicure took it upon herself to switch the color because she said it look better. Ok so light nails with dark toe polish. I wanted the same color on both. This is my last time coming here. The owner also try to add on extra stuff to your nails and charge more. I just want gel color and that’s it not all the extra

She the owner is very rude, disrespectful and nasty toward paying customers.. am asking all #BLACK WOMEN not Patronized this Nail Shop ALY NAIL SPA 2007 W Airline Hwy, Laplace, LA 70068 Laplace, La. I personally do not go there but my daughter do. This lady attitude is so nasty and so rude. She had the audacity to mess up my daughter eyebrow by cutting one completely off and still charge her. She said she knew she messed up and she said SOooo!!!!! Which blew me away. I almost committed a crime. One time which was my only time going there I picked up then polish to look at the colors SHE SAID HER RULES R "YOU CAN NOT PICK UP NO POLISH AT ALL YOU CAN LOOK BUT YOU CAN NOT TOUCH". So ladies you know when you go "PICK YOUR COLOR" You open it and you may even put some on your nail to test and see if the color go with your skin. I WALKED OUT!!! Because my money spend good everywhere. I have learned you have to teach people how to treat you and one way is through their pockets. I know I am not the only person that has experience her nasty, rude, disrespectful attitude toward African American Women is her shop. I think I was more mad at my daughter for even going there and giving this nail shop her money. One lady went live on her page about this nail shop

Ariane Smith My experience was horrible! This place has went down more than ever…. The prices has went up and the quality of work has went down. I will not be returning and I suggest no one else go waste money. I am now at another nail salon getting my toes repolished after paying for that service already here. I didn’t receive a trim or file on my nails and my polish was rushed. I’m so disappointed and I really wish they close this place down!

Tenagne HM Really appreciated the shaping of my clear acrylic fill set with gold leaf. The owners seem to know everyone by name, and the regulars swear by the service.

Alma Townsend I would not take my dog to the this shop. I had went to get my feet done. And my nails done in my feet. Look like they never have been done the nails. They did not clean the nails up. Did not clean the cuticles or anything else I think that is very sad Service was very bad. She left to go home left me and Ill soak in my feet with her husband he does not know what hes doing versus sad
