Jessica Caulfield I start this by saying they were all very nice, and fast service. However after I realized that the woman doing my nails wasn’t really paying attention to the quality of the work she was doing and more so just rushing through them. I stopped having any input on my own nails. I just started getting my nails done and have been trying new places and have really loved it. This place the shape, length and overall job was just of poor quality. There is grit in the polish, shape is uneven, not to mentioned when I walked in I asked for black dipped with pink edges. What I got was gel and crooked that are too long. I wanted to speak up but after what was happening I just wanted to leave. $95 and I tipped $15 because I’m in the service industry and feel guilty not. But this place was not worth the money.

Risha Bates I have been looking for a great nail spa. Don’t judge a book by its cover, these ladies are sweet and very efficient. If you like a intimate atmosphere then this is it with 5 pedicure chairs and 5 manicure stalls

Miriam Molina Huong is the very best in the business. Her salon feels more like a spa and is truly my sanctuary. Check her out for your next mani & pedi.

Dana Meyers Great experience and prices! Huong is fantastic. I’ve finally grown my nails to where I only need a manicure and polish. She was very gentle and meticulous during my mani and did a fabulous job with my gel polish. Some places tend to leave waves because it’s so thick. But Huong takes her time and you could tell in the results! Definitely recommend!

Kendellest Mackey Today my Tech Andy was great. I liked that he interacted with me and made sure I was ok repeatedly. I never had to wait extremely long either like I did other place. Ms. Lele, she too was very pleasant and informed me to call ahead for my Tech if I enjoyed my service. So if you’re in Gretna give Red Carpet a try.

T R This shop was never the best, but was way better when the male nail techs worked. I came into town visiting family for a week and stopped for a refill on a Saturday. By Saturday evening, my nails began detaching from the refill set. I spent Sunday attempting to call the shop with no answer. When I finally got in touch with them, I let the worker know that I was very unhappy with the service and did not want them to do anything else to my nails. Plus I have no time to go back into the shop because I was only in town a week and have no transportation from east New Orleans to Gretna before my departure back to California. I was told over the phone by the worker that either I come or nothing. She told me “when you go to a restaurant and don’t like the food, do you get your money back? No!!!” Which is entirely untrue in the country. The workers attitude was terrible. I told her multiple times “have a good day!” to try and get her off the phone but she continued to yell and attempt an argument with me. After that exchange, I never ever want to return here, and I am warning anyone reading this review. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE!! She even told me “oh I did little refill, go talk to whoever did your full set.” Only the tech that did my full set was a MUCH MORE EXPERIENCED tech! And when she said little refill, she meant it, because it didn’t hold an entire day.

Mallory Butler Amy did my nails and she is amazing! She can do any design you ask for and she is so friendly! I would highly recommend this shop for all your nail needs!!

LJ Edmonds The nail techs are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The environment is clean and quiet. No children are allowed unless they are being serviced, all services are by appointment only which makes the atmosphere more intimate. My nail tech is Kirry and she always does an awesome job.

Kimberly Barnes The salon was clean and the service was good. I had an issue with the gel builder it began to lift after 2weeks which should usually lasts at least 3-1/2. I contacted the salon and they agreed to fix them. They also suggested I use the dip because I type a lot for my job and the dip would hold up better. Thank you TBD for your services ☺️

Mary Boudreaux My appointment @ 1:30pm on a Saturday. Got there earlier and I was pleased. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, prices are reasonable and most of all my mani-pedi was fabulous. I will be returning .

Carlie Staub The pictures are of what I wanted, 4 days after (to show the infection), and 2 weeks later. The first problem i had was that I got some kind of infection after getting these nails that lasted the whole time, so my finger was hurting the entire time having them. After about a week a yellow puss started coming out. The next problem was that there was a dip in almost every nail. Ive never had that happen before so idk what happened. Someone else did my pedicure, and the pedicure was a joke. It may have lasted 20 minutes with the painting and everything. And the lady hovered around us until she got her tip when she finished. When we checked in we were asked if we wanted to get the massage, which we declined because we have never gotten any type of extra massage with our pedicure before. Turns out she was talking about the basic massage/ lotion that comes with every pedicure that Ive ever gotten from every other place Ive ever been. So no lotion ever touched my feet or my hands at all. Then while getting the pedicure, the lady asked if I wanted the cheese grater for $7 more, and she said I needed it so I said yes. She took about 2 minutes with it which the person I was there with took at least 15 with the cheese grater. I have never been to any nail salon that didnt include a basic massage/lotion, and cheese greater in a regular pedicure. And there is no menu for you to choose the type of pedicure you want.

Destiny Manglona I’ve been going to Avalon on & off for about 6+ yrs. The service here has always been friendly and a place I love returning to. If you ever stop here on a Sunday ask for Ken! He is very friendly, courteous, & detail oriented. In love with this set

Erianne Marie I forgot to book an appointment and showed up with my sister to hers. I watched Zack and how he interacted with his client, it was so fun and personable so I told my sister I want him to do my nails. Anna the nail tech my sister books with heard the conversation my sister and I were having and called him over and said she wants you to do her nails just as he was finishing up with his client. He told me to have a seat, and long and behold he did not disappoint. I’ll be booking with Zack from now on. Thanks Zack!!!!
