1 /5 Johnetta Dixon: Planet Fitness is a ripoff. I signed a one year contract for membership. Paid for the year even though I couldn’t physically access the gym anymore due to health issues and surgery. Called the customer service number AFTER my contract ended to cancel membership. They stated I could mail a letter to the club (Alexandria, La) which I did. They claim they never received it. I went in there in May to CANCEL because they claimed they never got the letter. The worker gave me a letter for cancellation that has a ZERO BALANCE on it. They charged me AFTER the fact. I have been trying to get a refund for May which I should get a refund going back to January but I let that go. Needless to say they didn’t process me a refund. It’s not about the money it’s about the principle. I did what I was told to do. I paid my contract. They auto renewed it because they claim they didn’t receive my cancellation letter. Then they charged me after the fact of me physically coming into the gym, stating I didn’t cancel in enough time. When I actually did! Total rip off. Whenever I am able to join another gym it won’t be Planet Fitness.

1 /5 Serena Marie: Now they say the air conditioning is broken & it cant cool off enough. That the man who takes care of the building lives somewhere else now blah blah blah There is always a reason why the members do not matter at this location. They have signs up in the tanning rooms saying dont use the bathroom in the trashcan go to the bathroom before tanning. Thats awful they had to put that sign up & it kills your Im going to enjoy this trip to the gym vibe. Alexandria needs a real gym with air conditioning. 10 years ago this location was nice. Now Im surprised Planet Fitness lets them continue to have their name on the building.

5 /5 Michael Stephenson: Great gym to work out. Clean and friendly staff. Ive been a member of several other local gyms and Planet Fitness to less expensive and cleaner than them all. Not to mention so of the gym are not very friendly. As long as I am able to workout, it will be at PF!
