S Truly amazing and honest family owned business. Mr. Rock was there for us when we purchased a car with a lot of issues that were not disclosed. He explained everything throughout the entire process and truly had our best intentions. We have lived in the area almost our whole lives and been to many car shops, but he’s the only one we will trust from now on. My fiancé and I are so grateful for his expertise and good spirit. If your car needs work done or just need some automotive advice look no further. Multiple times in our encounter he told us “There’s no such thing as a stupid question. If you need an answer, it’s my job to educate and guide you.”

Nick Kiermaier They are very straightforward, nice, and extremely good mechanics. Have been going to them for over a decade now and these days, drive all the way across from New Orleans. They are a treasure. I think they might take walk-ins but theyre usually booked out a week or more so might be best to call and check.

Tommy Smith Do not bring vehicle here, after leaving my car there for a week they couldn’t find the part to fix my car, I had to find my own car part which took ten minutes then once finding the part they called and said he doesn’t have time to work on my car after sitting for a week. This is then worst car shop in Covington

The Jtrain I have a 2011 Silverado which broke down in summer of 2020. Oil pump on the old engine went out and the engine had 302000 miles on it. So we decided to just replace the entire motor as a whole and bought an identical used 4.8 Liter V8 vortec with 75000 on it. Had my transmission rebuilt at acorn transmission repair and then for about a year the truck just sat in my shop because I couldn’t find anyone to help me install the motor and transmission. So once I had the money saved up, I started looking around for automotive shops and I found this one not knowing anything about it. So I called up and told them what I needed done and they gave me a quote and soon after that I had my truck towed up there with all my parts. Maybe about a week passed before they got the truck in there and got to work on it. And then about another week went by and it was ready. Haven’t had ANY problems at all so far. I had a check engine light come on but I just took it up and they diagnosed it quickly for me and I told them I would be back in the future to get that minor repair done. I would recommend them to anyone. And anytime I need anything major done to my truck, I will be going to this shop. The staff is friendly, honest, and hard working and I really appreciate the work they did for me. Thank you Northshore automotive.

Liam Ordoyne Car craft did a phenomenal job with my vehicle. I was sent here after an accident, and they were very prompt with the repairs. They maintained constant communication with me and offered timely updates on when the car would be finished. Now, the car looks good as new!

Chad Piot Car Craft is great. I just picked up my car from them this morning and it is perfect. My car was backed into and there was $11K of damage. Car Craft got everything done in 15 days and my car looks like the day it rolled off the showroom floor. O F This place is GREAT! This owner Josh and his asst KIm saved my a!@#$! I just move into Covington area when one morning the power steering went out on my 2020 BMW with 43000 miles on it. I thought I was having a stroke...but lucky for me it was the power steering. well I called the only BMW dealer in the area which was 30 miles away in NOLA. ( I dont need to say their name) but they not only wanted to charge me 10k plus but said my warranty had expired 2 days prior an that they could not make an exception. I was floored. So I looked up certified bmw repair shops n the area and Josh answered the phone .....he was nothing but helpful from that point on. So was KIM ....they not only made many calls trying to find the lowest price steering column to replace in my car but did it over the Christmas and New Years holiday season. The fixed it for a fraction of the cost.! dont get me wrong it was NOT CHEAP but they were there for me and got the job done. They work, so answering the phone or getting back to you is a challenge for them. they are a small shop and like I said are working on your car...so call them and KIM will be ther for you. If you have a BMW and need work call Euro Tech. Ask for KIM, NOT JOSH...he is working 24/7 and really wants to satisfy his clients....they are a great team. Star Tarsier I was able to bring my car right away. Ed had it ready to pick up that afternoon. He was very upfront and honest with me and had reasonable prices. I am very impressed and more than satisfied with my experience at Drivons and will bring my vehicles to Ed from now on.

LAFRAN RANCH ARMSTRONG This mechanic shop is not efficient and takes way too long to get your vehicle together. There’s a jungle of cars out in front of his shop half of which are vehicles that he could not repair. He’s always complaining that he has too much work to do but you could never catch him at the shop early in the morning or late in the evening. I’m not saying that he has to work long hours but if you have too much work to get done don’t take on more work.

Angelle Lewis Professional & efficient! Updated review: I have taken 2 of my families vehicles here for the last couple of years. Most recently my sons older car needed an alternator and then another issue with the oil pan. In both cases, they made him feel at ease, were great communicators, had fast turnaround time and made the experience so much easier and better than I typically think of when I think about auto repairs. I cant see taking a vehicle anywhere else.

My husband, two of our kids, and I were on our way from Lafayette to Destin for vacation when we hit a tire on I-10 and started hearing a concerning noise. Not knowing where to go, I did a quick Google search and was immediately drawn to their name—being Christians ourselves, it stood out to us in the best way. We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened, with no appointment, and were greeted so kindly. From the moment we pulled in, we never felt like a bother. We explained what happened, and their team came outside right away to take a look. Within minutes, they had our vehicle lifted in the shop and diagnosed the issue—a bent piece near the drive shaft that was rubbing and causing the noise. Here’s the part that blew us away: they fixed it on the spot in under 10 minutes, and they didn’t charge us a thing. All they said was that they wanted to make sure we made it to our vacation safely. That kind of care and generosity is so rare and truly appreciated. The shop itself was also incredible—clean, welcoming, with free coffee, snacks, and even coloring supplies for the kids. We were so impressed by the entire experience and we were thrilled to learn there’s a Christian Brothers location back home in Lafayette. From now on, they’ve got our business for life. DeerSlayer My Dad used Mr James for years to work on his diesel truck & he was always hard to please, so when he told my husband & I never to go anywhere else, I knew there was great trust there-they had become great friends. After my Dad’s passing, we took his advice & have never regretted it. Mr James & his son, Pee Wee, are very honest & trustworthy. They’ve always fixed every issue we’ve had & their prices can’t be beat. They’re down to earth people & every time we need them, they take care of us immediately & we reminisce about my Dad & his diesel truck. They stand behind their work, they don’t do unnecessary repairs, they’ll let you know if they find any other issues & show them to you & let you know if needs immediate repair or if it can wait & let you decide. We never use anyone else. If we could give 10 stars, they deserve it!

Tyler Kumar These people are scam artists. Charged me for a new tire in November 2023 but only patched my tire. I’m finding this out in March of 2025 as I got a nail in the tire they supposedly replaced but was informed said tire had already been patched before. Additionally, they are NOT affiliated with corporate Firestone, they are simply ripping of the brand and falsely advertising to consumers.
