Like other reviewers, I also had a problem with the staff member ("office manager") that handles insurance. She lacked understanding of basic verification and in/out of network policies.
I continued to work around it and only asked to hold my childs appointment for a 15 minutes so I could do my due diligence with insurance.
She said she didnt understand, wouldnt listen to me, continued to interrupt me and pushed me to my limit. Ive NEVER lost my cool with anyone over the phone but she pushed me over the edge. I disconnected the line to take a breather. (No one should ever be pushed like this over insurance verification.) I called back and she kept pushing me and not letting me speak until I lost my cool.
Given that others have spent their time to complain about her here, someone should really work with her on basic customer service skills, like giving people who are calling in with a need, the opportunity to speak, listening skills and the ability to problems solve.
Ive ALWAYS been able to communicate easily with people, but I felt sick hanging up the phone when I had to resort to raising my voice. She degraded me as a mother and made it about herself when it should have been about getting my child in for a serious issue.
