However after I realized that the woman doing my nails wasn’t really paying attention to the quality of the work she was doing and more so just rushing through them. I stopped having any input on my own nails. I just started getting my nails done and have been trying new places and have really loved it. This place the shape, length and overall job was just of poor quality. There is grit in the polish, shape is uneven, not to mentioned when I walked in I asked for black dipped with pink edges. What I got was gel and crooked that are too long. I wanted to speak up but after what was happening I just wanted to leave. $95 and I tipped $15 because I’m in the service industry and feel guilty not. But this place was not worth the money.
    5 /5 Risha Bates: I have been looking for a great nail spa. Don’t judge a book by its cover, these ladies are sweet and very efficient. If you like a intimate atmosphere then this is it with 5 pedicure chairs and 5 manicure stalls

    1 /5 Sophia Claire: This place doesn’t even deserve one star. They are rude, impatient, rough, and ridiculously priced for the quality you get. One of the ladies was being so rough she made 4 of my fingers bleed. I asked her to be more gentle and then she proceeds to make them bleed even more. Now all of my fingers are raw and bloody. Important to note: i don’t have sensitive skin, that’s how aggressive she was being. I’ve never had a worse experience that this at any nail salon i’ve ever been to, PLUS i was charged 90 dollars to walk out of the place with a mediocre set of acrylics and bloody fingers

    Queen Leo: I went in on 5/27/23 and the service I requested was ombre pink and white and wax eyebrows. This is by far the worst set of nails Ive ever had. The lady asked how long g I said short but my nails look like cat claws. The ombre is not ombre and the pink looks peach. All of the nails that she put on are different sizes so not only are they long they are all different sizes. This is the worst nail shop please run away from this place

    Casey Allman: My first time, as a guy, getting a Mani/pedi. The two ladies that helped my girlfriend and I were very friendly and easy to talk to the entire time. They were also able to fit us in with short notice, and stayed late after closing to finish up our nail treatments. Wow! We left feeling refreshed and happy! Will definitely be returning.

Julie used to do good nails and for years then I started seeing where she was so worried about what was on the tv and not focusing on my nails. Then her work wasn’t what it used to be. Then Amy is the owner and the way she speaks to people is rude.Then has the nerve to question me about this review today when I was calling for my mom! This call had nothing to do with me and she was rude!!! They going to lose business!

    Brandi Barnes: Needed to get my daughters nails done before school and decided to go ahead get mine done too. Service was great, staff was friendly and we both got exactly what we asked for! Update: although at previous visits we have had wonderful experiences at MLV as far as quality of their work, our more recent visits have not been as pleasant. My experience with the owner was that she was rude and was not concerned with whether customers are satisfied with the quality of work they receive or not. We will no longer be patronizing this establishment.

    Tiffiany Mills: I called Oakwood Nails and Spa for an appointment and was able to get a spot right away. Upon arrival, I waited about 15 minutes, which wasn’t an issue for me. During my service, I overheard them quoting another client $25 for lashes and $20 for eyebrows—the same services I was receiving. However, when I had called earlier, they told me $40, which I was fine with because I believe in paying for good service. When the technician finished my lashes, one side was noticeably crooked. With lashes, symmetry is important because any imbalance is very obvious. Again, this wasn’t a major issue since I knew how to fix them myself. At checkout, my total came to $60 for the lashes and eyebrow threading. I didn’t have service in the mall to use my card, so I decided to pay in cash. I handed the technician $60, but she kept her hand out as if expecting more. I was actually planning to tip $10 but didn’t have the right change. I started to ask if I could add the tip to my card once I got service, but before I could even finish my sentence, she abruptly started speaking in her language, handed me the receipt aggressively, and said “thanks” in a dismissive tone. Her coworker, who had been listening, just looked me up and down. Given that I recently lost my mother, my patience is thin, and her behavior was extremely rude. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.
