Angela Tinnerello Great experience! Walked in and was immediately seated with a nail tech. She was funny and spoke English very well. She asked what I wanted done and I told her to treat my nails like they’re her own. Let me tell you, I wasn’t disappointed! The pedicure was wonderful, also. I lost a nail due to some self-inflicted trauma at work and needed one built. He sculpted a natural looking nail with acrylic powder. Can you tell which one is fake? My feet haven’t been this pampered in quite a while!

Dreamland Quilts Warden The nails look fine but EVERY SINGLE TIME, no matter the person doing the job, they BURN OFF A CORNER OF MY FINGER, at least one. I had them done Oct. 15th by one of the men and the damage was so deep it came close to getting infected. I pointed out to him that he had made me bleed and he did nothing buy grind right back over the same spot more than once. Thank God I have a high pain tolerance but that really pissed me off to have to pay to be TORTURED! I’ll continue to go back but with struck rules. After all, Im told theyre the only salon in Winnfield and at 70, I dont like driving an hour just to have my nails done. Does anyone know what health agency they can be reported to? Oct. 20 Here I go again. Couldnt see how to start a new review so just adding to this. I didnt just want to leave a post without talking to someone in charge - something I couldnt do Tuesday after the injury because I just wanted to get out of there. So Friday the 19th, on the way to Walmart, I asked my husband and son to wait in the car while I found out who to talk to. I was met almost immediately by Emma (in charge) who recognized me right off. I asked to take the discussion outside for privacy. Once outside she apologized profusely for what her brother-in-law had done. She was upset that he didnt tell her hed hurt me. She looked at my finger and offered to pay any doctors bills for it. I said that wasnt what I wanted, but Id like my next nail job done for free and she agreed. She said from now on only SHE will be doing my nails since Ive been burned by each person doing them so far. At that, I offered her a hug and we parted on very good terms. To Emma: I went home and soaked the finger in hydrogen peroxide until I could see the last couple of grains of sand from the grinding burrs you use. A pair of tweezers quickly took care of them so now, with more antibiotic ointment and a bandage, it should heal quickly and thoroughly. So dont worry. See you in a couple of weeks. Terry

Jennifer Clark I absolutely love this nail salon. I live in Winn Parish and traveled to Alexandria for 15 years to get my nails done. I decided to give the new shop a try. Since Emma took over it has been the greatest experience ever. I no longer have to drive out of town to get my nails done. I’m a every three week kind of gal!! lol I’m very picky too, been having my nails done for over 30 years. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with several of the nail techs and have told all my friends. This is a GREAT shop and does wonderful work, do not hesitate to try them.

Nicki H Amazing experience! When I entered, I was greeted with several hellos and smiles from the staff. After a long week of being on my feet, I got the best pedicure I’ve received in a while! It was thorough, neat, and I did not feel rushed like I have with other salons. They even offered beverages. The energy was just welcoming and comfortable. They have a returning customer with me. I would recommend!

Michelle Janet Great service and kind employees. Theres usually a wait, but its worth it. Update 12/23/23 got my mani/pedi for Christmas!! Lele and the ladies did a great job! Shout out to Quinn for making my gorgeous designs!!!!

Jeanne Tingler So sorry that I wasted money on this sloppy mani/pedi. I’ve been going to LA Nails for about a year and have always been satisfied before, but not this time. The polish is just a mess and no two nails were filed alike. Leaving on vacation in the morning so I am stuck with this to annoy me every time I look at my hands or feet!

Katie Cox Just left and Im annoyed that I paid for the spa pedicure and the spa part lasted less than 3 minutes. In that time she did a sugar scrub and massage. She also rubbed a lime on my toes for like 2 seconds. Just my toenails. I had a scratch on my leg so she said she didnt want to massage it even though its over a week and a half old. If thats the case, I should not have paid for the extras. The menu states you get a 10-minute massage with the spa pedicure. She was barely paying attention to what she was doing the entire time and generally did not care. Also, I was not offered anything to drink. Other manicurist offered their clients a drink. I should have asked the young ladys name. She has no business working there.

Kristy Hardy The lack of skill at this establishment is ridiculous!!!! I have never been anywhere that couldn’t do a simple gel manicure and pedicure, but this place managed to ensure that I did!! Not only did I get SLOPPY service, but I also got cut on my finger by cuticle clippers!!! These people are the worst!!!!

Megan Kidd People are nice but not very good. My nails came out crooked, they talked my girls into designs that were not well done at all and my niece had to get hers completely redone because they were crooked, lumpy and uneven.

Stacie Dugdale John is now at Jolie Nails and does amazing work. He can do anything you ask. Go by and give them a chance.

Jessica Bell Worst NAIL JOB EVER! Called at 5:45 pm they close at 7 told me they could take me. I needed a refill and pedicure. Got there at 6pm they made it like a pedicure was going to take too long. Okay cool no problem! Got a refill with gel something I always get. This time I did the entire nail white instead of ombré. Nails were lumpy and weird looking. Maybe they were in a rush so I brushed it off. Got to polishing them left polish all over the side of my nails. PAID $85!! Few hours later the polish is peeling and coming off! I’ve never seen this before. So I go back to the next day they fix it no problem. Few hours later again 3 nails the polish is coming off. NEVER GOING BACK!

Mary Franklin Every time I am in Walker I go here! The serve is always excellent. The salon is clean with a relaxing environment. The nail techs there always do a good job and do exactly what I ask. Very efficient and reasonably priced.

Bobbie Sue Leonard “Sun” did a fantastic job on my nails. I got a full set autumn themed, coffin shaped. She was very friendly and offered lots of ideas. I am very particular about my nails, and I will definitely be going back to her. Highly recommend.

Sonya Patel Worst pedicure experience I’ve ever had. Made a complete mess of my nails and all my skin around my nails. None of their tools came out of a sanitizing pack bag…they were picked up & put back in the bottom of a cart. Didn’t properly take out my cuticles and even the polish was caked on in 4 coats, not allowed to dry before top coat was put on and it moved my colored polish. Then we paid and they guy came outside to tell us only 2 of us 3 paid. We had to tell him several time that all 3 of us paid. MY TOES LOOK ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! How can my skin look this dry AFTER a pedicure??? I has NEVER looked like this in my life.

Krystal Hatfield This is my second time coming to the nail salon and I must say they are great. The customer service was excellent and SUN was so patient with me. I was very indecisive about what I wanted. I would definitely recommend because it is hard to find a good salon you can keep going to.

Daddy Camper This was my first-ever pedicure, and I can’t thank Nails 4 U enough for making it such an amazing experience. I was initially hesitant because complications from lupus have damaged my nail color due to circulation issues, and years in the military have taken a toll on my feet. I usually hide my feet, but the nail tech who handled my Deluxe Orange Pedicure (a man with an awesome tattoo on his left arm) made me feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful again! He did an incredible job, and for the first time in years, I actually feel good about wearing sandals! I originally came in just to accompany a coworker, but they sold me on gel polish and I’m so glad they did! I didn’t even know the difference, but now I’m hooked! A wonderful woman then convinced me to get a gel manicure, and WOW. I left feeling like a million bucks! My hands feel amazing, my cuticles look perfect, and I truly feel pampered. I’m not from the area, but if I ever come back, this will absolutely be my go to spot! My only regret? Not having cash for the tip…next time, I’ll come prepared. If you’re in Alexandria, you HAVE to try this place!

Daria LaBorde Ive been coming here for 6 years & ive always been satisfied but the new owners are amazing! They are able to do all the trending designs, they offer a wide variety of colors and polishes! Teresa is great with the lashes & eyebrows! I love it here❤️

Patty Trackwell I would give zero stars if I could. This place is so nasty inside. They dont bother to clean anything seems like. They was pretty rude too. She said before she started it will be $10-$15 then told me $25. I just got gel removed and clear polish on (not gel) Glad I dont live here! I will never go back to this place again.

Wanda James I wish I could rate this place a zero, it was my first time I was driving through and decided to stop. When I entered guy told me have a seat while he went out to smoke. They so rude and never seem to care, he started on my nails and never asked me what shape I wanted. He assumed I wanted square or square round. When he finish he just got up started doing something else never said thanks or anything. But they want a payment before polishing then charge $2 extra for their cc use how sad. People please read the reviews before going to this place I wouldnt take my dog for a manicure.

Cortney Rae Darbonne Horrible experience went on 12/23/23 the lady was sick coughing all over me and my daughter as we got our hands and feet done. I felt she should not have been working around the public. The mask was on her chin the whole time, I had to ask her to turn the other way when she coughed. she did a horrible job on my nail and my daughters as well and for them to dipped is definitely a Huge disappointment for me $135 dollars wasted!

Faithe Henry I tried to do the right thing and give them a chance to mix what they messed up. And they charged me 20$ for them to fix their mistake. I wanted matt black too red ombre (inspo picture in photos) they started doing matt put a gloss over it. Then when I asked if it was going to be matt they just put a matt layer over the gloss. I let go of the fact the polish looked nothing like the inspo picture. Then two days after having them done they started chipping. Pictures go in order from inspo, what I got, the chipping, then what they did today to fix it that they charged me for. It was the first and second time Ive done to this salon and I will not be back

A L I went here for the first time. The lady rushed my pedicure, the people are rude, and the price was not worth the experience. I tried this place because a friend recommended the jelly pedicure, that’s the only thing going for them.

Alyssa Linton I had such a fantastic experience. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming and Kelly did a wonderful job. This is the best looking French manicure I’ve had in a while. I will absolutely be returning.

Trista Hughes Ann is very knowledgeable and professional, and she always makes me feel valued and pampered. She’s also highly skilled doing eyelashes of all sort and she is the ONLY one I allowed to do my eyebrows.

Rashunta Holden Worst nail shop I’ve been too , one guy had a horrible attitude and did not want to fix my nails the way I wanted and another guy tried to tell him this isn’t what I asked for he did not care !!! I asked him if he could add more green as soon as he started he said it was too late and kept going and still charged me full price for a set I didn’t ask for !!

Karen Emerson I went in today to get synthetic nails removed. Do not get nails regularly but did so this time for my sons wedding. Not an experienced nail salon patron. Anyway, I sat down and one of the techs came over and started peeling off my artifical nails. I told him he was hurting me several times, but he just smiled, spoke vietnamese to the tech working on my feet and kept on. After he pulled a piece of one of my nails off, he finally started to soak them in acetone. He came over a bit later and started trying to peel them off again. This time pulled half of my fingernail off. He stopped and wrapped it back up in acetone...ouch. Did not care. Did not apologize for hurting me. Nothing, just turned me over to a different tech for a "manicure". My nails were so obviously damaged she didnt do her job right. Felt like they were just trying to get rid of me. Then...I paid for the "manicure" and pedicure. Really? I was bleeding. They should have comped the whole thing. The pedicure tech did a good job of removing my gel polish and cleaning up my toenails. I am gluing my fingernail back on and attempting to repair the damage done to my nails myself. Whatever you do, dont go here to get nails removed. Terrible. Wish I could give negative stars.

Hannah Taylor If I could leave more stars I would! It was an overall amazing experience. Ty did my pedicure and she was very kind and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Kim did my acrylic set and was very patient and kind. She paid very close attention to every little detail and made my nails flawless! This will now be my go-to place.

Lisa Carter I just recently moved to the Eastbank and needed a new nail salon. After going to several and not being pleased, my daughter told me about Luxury Shade. She went there with her friends and loved her nails. Initially, I was immediately impressed. They are clean and courteous- not condescending, polite and professional- not pushy, and they offer a wide range of services and colors. I must admit that they are pretty pricey, but so are most things these days. I’ve only had one unsatisfactory service, but since I believe in their commitment to customer satisfaction, I went back and just as I thought, they listened and made me feel confident to give them another opportunity to make it better, and they did just that! My feet look brand new and my nails are exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend them!

Shannon Saavedra I had not had a pedicure in a long time. My feet were in terrible shape. My legs were in terrible shape. The pedicurist was SUPER THOROUGH and meticulous. She paid special attention to renewing my feet and sloughing off the dead skin and callouses. I had an injury on my ankle and she ensured yo take special care not to damage it while treating the area. I think she spent extra time massaging my feet too cause she could tell it had been a while. The manicurist was equally as thorough and attentive. He warmed every lotion and oil and a scrub before applying it. He groomed my cuticles and softened my hands, and checked in on me constantly to make sure he was doing things to my liking. He painted extra coats on my nails till they were to HIS standards. This place is the BEST! Hands: OPI bubble bath; feet: OPI funny bunny

Jaiden Bonnet I received a full set & my nails were not how I told her I wanted them. They are NOT square square! Also, my nails are VERY VERY wide AND fat & they do not look square square & I was robbed out of 70$! I do NOT recommend going to this place. Thank You!!

Abby Caballero Clean environment. Good product selection and easy to get to. Pedicure average in comparison to salons visited for years. Had to request additional coats of polish and to have the excess polish removed from skin. Once I requested the improvements, I had to wait several minutes as though I offended the staff. Was awkward. My first visit will be 2 visits in one....first and last.

Renee Dani First time going to Brandons nails today and let me tell you, as a previous nail tech I was blown away by the attention to detail and cleanliness of this place. And Im picky, like beyond picky, check your apex, make sure u go under the free edge, have clean side walls picky.... did beyond my expectations for my gel manicure and pedicure. To top it off him and his son were one of the most hospitable people Ive met in a while. He even fixed a broken nail AND did a custom mixed gel color for me that he didnt have by me just explaining the color. If you want someone who will take care of you then definitely give them a call

Jacob Thacker My wife went there this evening at 5:30pm for a full set appointment. She got as far as the nails on, my wife asked the lady to fix two of her fingers because they was super crooked. The lady told my wife that she wasn’t fixing it because she was being to picky. Fast forward, my wife lets her continue( because my wife isn’t usually the type to correct it even say anything) until she gets to the acrylic part and the two that was crooked looked even worse with the acrylic on it so my wife asked her if there was anything she could do to try and fix it because she didn’t want to pay for a full set with them as crooked as they was. The lady tells her no and cuts off all the tips that’s she put on. Inside of just the the two that needed to fix. The lady dosent even take off the nails all the way and leaves the acrylic on the ones she did and then she told my wife to leave because she was being picky. This is my wife’s first bad experience in a nail salon especially to one she has been been to. This was absolutely ridiculous had my wife in tears and not to mention my wife did ask her if there was someone else to fix her nails and she told her no to leave. We will be going into a higher Authority about this because there was no sense in it! My wife is the sweetest, quites person. Why treat your customers like this when all she asked was if you could fix the two nails that YOU put on crooked!!! WORSE PLACE BY FAR DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!

Lana F I don’t know how I didn’t leave this review sooner. Long is an EXPERT at acrylics. He truly knows what he’s doing. One of the things I miss most about being a JMU student was having these fire sets all the time. No one does it like Long does.

Maranda Hamlin My daughter and I went today for a manicure, nails are super sharp around the edges and not even squared like they should be, not to mention it cost me $120, thats insane, Ill never go back there. I would had never went if I knew there prices were that high. G3 only charged me $45 for a full set.... If they werent packed thats where we would had went. Update, its only been a few days and our nails are already popping off. What a waste of $120.

Chia Kawa Hot a set of acrylics French $70 worth didnt even do a manicure with it. Thought manicures come with set of acrylics. First time going there wont be going back. Had it done with the owner dont remember her name.

Shawana Perkins Best salon I’ve been to! I’ve looked for years for a salon both good with nails and designs for nails. This one has both! Lin is the bomb! If you want unique mail designs she’s the one to go to! They are great with pedicures as well!

Victoria Jackson I visited this location for nail and toe services before attending a wedding, but was disappointed by the unreasonable wait time. From 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, the slow service was evident. Additionally, the business failed to inform me of a convenience fee associated with card payments. After disputing the charge, it was lowered to $3.50. I strongly believe that customers should not incur this fee, as it is a necessary business expense. Regrettably, the combination of slow service and unprofessional practices has led me to choose not to return to this establishment.

Lauren Kunst The lady’s were very nice but unfortunately after getting a pedicure here for the first time ever I now have an infection in my toe. I’ve been to many other places in my life and never had this happened. Will never go back here again!!!!! Not to mention the paint job isn’t the greatest considering I’m a hairdresser and do pedicures myself!

Blair Bauer Roxanne did such a fantastic job with my manicure and pedicure. I felt so relaxed and at ease. She was so pleasant and talented! 10/10 recommend and will be back Went back a week later after I had a problem with my gel, the owner fixed it herself and free of charge. Definitely pleased! Skylar Cappiello DO NOT GO HERE. I wanted my nails done for an event and got a fresh set of tips. While I was here one of the nail techs smudged my nails and refused to fix it without extra payment of 10 dollars per nail. When I declined paying extra to repaint the nails and asked them to remove the polish, the manager came over and angrily clipped my nails to look like this. Never have I ever experienced such unprofessionalism. Go to Hollys Nails instead.
